I think it deserves its praise. I played it for a few hours. The mechanics are solid and any game that promote team play is always welcome. Now if you ask me if it was better than Rainbow Six Siege... That's another poll and another discussion altogether.

@primorandomguy: That's a bummer. I did enjoy 3 a lot. i guess 20 bucks would be the perfect price ;)
@loe12k: I liked the first. It's action is a bit too fast paced and i grow tired very quickly, but i had a lot of fun. I'm still looking forward to 2, but not at full price.
@Blabadon: Agreed. And the GPUs dropping in price. That's tasty. As for VR, i'm not sure just yet. They are trying to market it as an actual platform. I see it more as a peripheral. That being said, i still think that it's more than a fad. I don't think it's going away anytime soon.
@SecretPolice: Goddamnit. I'm a PC player. Drop in price already!
@hillelslovak: That is ultimately the problem. I had bought a few titles on Games for Windows Live. The platform is gone, so are my purchases. The Microsoft Store format for games is great, however, Microsoft has a habit to abandon everything not Windows or Office branded.
@npham2005: Been playing IV On and Off for the last few years. Ultra, in it's current state, is one of my favorite fighter.
As far as V is concerned, I don't know. I've avoided it since launch. It's pricey and light on features. It does looks good but i honestly don't care all that much about that. With the latest patch, it's getting a bit tempting. I main Juri in IV, so...
There's a few good fighters in recent time with plenty of good content that are giving V a run for it's money : Mortal Kombat X and Killer Instinct (2013) really are helping shape the fighting game arena.
@killered3: It was just way too linear in it's structure. Aside from that, solid rpg.
@jatobi: Every iteration of Counter-Strike has been a cespool of cheaters of all kind. This has got just as much potential to be a long term hit.
That being said, Counter-Strike has something Siege does not. A server list.
@Realmjumper: Same, and almost as long as gamespot, to tell the truth. I gotta say i'm a bit divided with it. I love the gaming journalism, but i care little about the cosplaying side of it. Altough i guess it's in the name of the site... Oh well.
