[QUOTE="crusadernm"]

[QUOTE="Arach666"]Ok. Now guess wich version is the best version of DR2.Arach666

360 version.

Guess again.

You see, I heard something about exclusive (meaning ONLY on Xbox 360) DLC for Dead Rising 2. The way I see it - it's a matter of opinion which is the 'best' version (assuming by 'best' we're talking about the most preferential version to buy), because one gives you access to potentially more content whuilst the other looks and performs better on some PCs. It's like choosing between Mafia 2 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3...

They don't have the talent to make a quality game so they blame the consumers.

RawDeal_basic
Harsh words, bruh. They've made some stellar games this generation. Admittedly, they've been going downhill, but the Kameo time was probably their best.

Is he indirectly saying that 360-owners are narrow-minded? :O "It was a game with a fairy for an audience that likes shooting and killing things."

I wouldn't be surprised - Kinect has always had a business model more likely to succeed in the current market (despite it's fairly outrageous pricing) - it's fundamentally even more casual than the Nintendo Wii, and going by the adverts, all they're trying to do is ween that audience off of their competitors' controller input. Personally, I prefer Move, but I'm almost certain that Kinect will be more financially successful - as for the games and how well it is recieved by critics? Well, we'll have to wait and see.

[QUOTE="Sky-"]

You know nothing about it and it is going to fail?

Makes sense.

mkaliaz

Well, thats typical System Wars logic right there, isnt it?

Totally. Anyway, people often have the wrong perception of what 'failing' really is when it comes to the games industry. Like, the PSP has sold, as far as I know, over 50 million units and yet a lot of people consider it a 'failure' - sure, software sales aren't as strong as they should be, and Nintendo still effectively dominates the industry, but it's not a failure by any means. It will be difficult for Sony to break in to the next handheld generation's market with Nintendo's momentum, but I have faith - it should be good.

360 version will be better but im getting ps3 one for frontline

sikanderahmed
Why will the 360 version be better? As far as I can remember, there were aspects of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (in terms of performance and graphical fidelity) that were stronger on PS3 - isn't it running on the same engine?

[QUOTE="Sp4rtan_3"]Perfect Dark 0 -____- worst game i've played all generation. Red steel although it was a critical flop I thought it was amazing.

PDZ was the worst game you played? Wow - you must have had a really great generation (I really loved the addition of bots - it places it among my favourite 360 games)! Still, that's your opinion, and I respect that. Anyway, as for me, I don't really hype games. The only games I've ever actually hyped (as in, had enough faith in to pre-order) are LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 - neither disappointed me. My next one is LittleBigPlanet 2 - if that sucks, well, there you go :D

I agree - I wouldn't have a problem with the sale of pre-owned games being banned, as it could potentially reduce the RRP of games, or push up their quality due to larger budgets. If the developers are getting money from what they work for, I see no problem.

are there any games out there that show off the full potential of the PS3 in terms of graphics, content etc

nickz_fpk
No. I think it'll take a while for developers to really push the PS3 in terms of graphics and content, because it's all about optimisation. Sure, you can use 100% of the processor, but it's simply down to poor optimisation, you're not harnessing the full potential. We have a long way to go still, in my opinion.
