Demon's Souls Portable. JipsetThat, that would be awesome.
I totally agree with this, but is it entirely relevant to this thread? As for the original question I'm not sure - I want both to do well, but I reckon Uncharted 3 might just have it. It's too early to tell really though...The games that are more or less locked in GOTY lists are
ME3 (ME blew critics away, and is likely the most popular GOTY in 2010)
U3 (2 broke records, and greatly improved on previous)
Portal 2 (1 was only a side part of a game, but is one of the most beloved games this gen)
The variable contenders (too soon to say)
Last guardian (may not be released in 2011)
Gears 3 (shooter fatigue is setting in)
LBP2 (depends on community allot)
Resistance 3 (looks very improved, but little actual info)
Killzone 3 (shooter fatigue)
Diablo 3 (don't know if it will be released, and PC hack and slash games have lost popularity)
Infamous 2 (looks like a improvement on 1, but really would need U1 to U2 level of improvement)
Zelda (that E3 demo showed the potential to disappoint, and heavily relied on motion cont..)
deus ex (little info)
Batman (past was a good game, but its quality was heavily reliant on the fact gamers have been waiting years for a good batman game)
Potential flops (not bad, but short of expectation)
Rage (little info, but doubt this will regain the developer the glory they had with Doom)
Crysis 2 (looks meh, and in many gameplay ways a downgrade)
R&C all 4 1 (coop could turn out horde mode well, or RE5 fail)
Twisted metal (don't know if this styl e of game will really be that good anymore)
Elder Scrolls (could easily fall the same fait as Fallout new vegas)
Ni no kuni (looks ****** beautiful, but know little gameplay faqs, and was originally DS game. Also JRPGs have been mostly flops/failures this gen)
Duke nukem (really, do I have to explain why this game has huge flop potential)
***Will edit with reasons and more games***

[QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"][QUOTE="CajunShooter"] Uncharted isn't a Shooter.Actually it is. when 70-80% of your game is spent shooting enemies, hitting targets...etc and 20-30 is platforming and puzzles then your a shooter. then we just take a look at Uncharted 2's multiplayer...yeah shooter.. Its a hyrbidSony has a lot more exclusives this just two shooters though.

I'd agree with this - even Sony classifies it as "Action, Adventure, Shooter - 3rd Person", and I think if anyone has the right to classify it, its them.
