That's an excellent point, actually. Very often the demo isn't fully representative of the final product, so it would be sometimes wrong to say you'd played the game. I think when people say they've 'played' a game, they should say to what extent they have, as, playing one level of a game is just as bad as just playing the demo.

Well, the PS2 had the largest collection, but I had most fun with my Xbox. If I was more open minded at the time, I'd probably have taken advantage of a lot more PS2 games, so I voted PS2. I've only recently purchased Gamecube games (for Wii), but haven't had much fun yet - I don't think I've played the right games yet though...

Most of the things you notice on still screen shots, you wont notice when you playing it on your HDTV.

This is extremely true - very often people can play two versions of a multiplatform game seperately and not be able to distinguish between them. It's only when they're compared side by side that it's really noticable.

I agree - for a first attempt, it's incredible. Even the most established developers have difficulty in making a solid, addictive multiplayer, so to get it right first time is a real achievement.

Killzone 3 could only be a 'Halo killer' if it managed to get lots of Halo: Reach players to ditch Halo: Reach in favour of Killzone 3. Assuming a significant proportion of Halo: Reach owners don't own PS3s, this would mean that Killzone 3 would need to persuade them to buy a Playstation 3, which is unlikely, considering the way that there hasn't been a huge boost in sales of PS3s following any of the PS3's best titles. This is generally why multiplatforms (or Xbox 360-exclusives) have a better chance of being Halo-killers than PS3-exclusives. That is, of course, assuming you're using the term in the same sense as many people use it - i.e. reduces the game's popularity in favour of said game.

I'm afraid I disagree on this occasion.

[QUOTE="funsohng"]No Child of Eden?ohthemanatee

it's not an exclusive

anyway, the first one reminds me of nightmare before christmas

To be fair, a game doesn't have to be exclusive for it to be counted as a game for Kinect. I'm worried about that one though, I've read that its actually better without Kinect :s

The game was great for its time, but I'd prefer a new IP from the studio right now. That's just me though...

Timesplitters is an incredible game, but it hasn't been discussed for some time because there hasn't been a Timesplitters game this generation. It's a bit like how, before The Last Guardian was even hinted at, people didn't talk about ICO or its sequel much. Personally, I think both series are truly great, and Halo still has some things to learn from Timesplitters (for example, possibly the challenge-modes and most importantly inclusion of bots!).
