Hello, I thought considering this has been my critique for a while it's my obligation to bring to your attention the fact that Kinect has actual games slated. No, not Pony Dumparoo and Girl Party Slam Dance Edition, actual !@#$ing games. I previously did not know that they existed, probably due to the fact that Microsoft has been spending all their advertising budget making middle aged women scream over their videogame console.
These were all shown at TGS and the recent issue of Game Informer brought them to my attention. Evidently the Japanese demand actual video games instead of nonsense like Bash Party 6 or whatever that Breakout knockoff they showed off at E3 was. We all profit. Enjoy the following list (with accompanying teaser trailer):
Haunt (kiddy horror game....has most interesting concept in teaser thus far):

Project Draco (basically Panzer Dragoon):

Codename D (Suda 51 is involved....trailer's kinda abrasive and confusing, but promising):

Rise of Nightmares (Sega, horror game):

Steel Battalion (replaces cockpit controller with Kinect somehow):

So I'm just gonna say it's time to elevate the discourse, I think, from "lol Kinect has no real games" to "how the hell are these games going to find an ingenious use for Kinect controls?" Are these concepts sufficiently titillating to renew your interest in Kinect?
