So let me get this straight. The console sits completely flat and it only wobbles if you apply pressure to one corner of it? When would I ever do this when playing games? Some fanboys are just plain embarrassing.

No doubt Sony will trump MS in sales this year but overall it's too close to call. The PS4 launch has hurt Sony a bit and with no AAA games so far buyers may be glancing over at MS shiny new box.

It will only take an Xbox One launch title to get a 9 or 10 and sales will boost dramatically. I've no doubt MS will hit 1m sold by end of the year with casual Christmas around the corner. Sony may have hit the 3m threshold by then but remember it's a marathon not a sprint. Even with a year head start MS only managed to tie 7th gen so it's too early to back a winner yet.

Titanfall pretty much the game to play in 2014.

For casuals, yes. Not real gamers but will still sell a ton. Below looks very interesting though. That, ryse and DR3 the only games that interest me so far.

For PS4 it's Infamous, Uncharted, Drive Club and The order 1886

I'm not sure a multi-billion company is looking forward in expanding in the charge kit industry. Especially considering every generic charge kit will do the job.

On launch there are generally only official charging kits available that fit the controllers properly. Say MS sells 2m Xbox One's by next year and 50% of owners buy a kit at $19 a piece. That's $19,000,000. More than a drop in the ocean.

I really have no time at all for racing games but that second DC vidio, when in HD, looks tremendous. Very close to photo realistic. Obviously Forza will appeal to the arcade crowd and looks very, very good but purely from a graphics point of view DC wins this round.

I've never played either of the first two games but I'd love a return to the old school survival horror and with RPG stuff thrown in it just sounds like my perfect game.

Unfortunately as we've seen with Resi and Silent Hill that genre has slowly died and doesn't look like reanimating any time soon. Sadly games like these just don't sell well and cost a lot to produce. Easier to just create a generic FPS that 10m people will but buy then take the time to make a great game.

When I first got my Xbox 360 I was always running out of batteries. It was just so stupid. It's fine saying just get more batteries but sometimes it was 11 or 12 at night and batteries weren't readily available. I've since invested £10 in a charging kit and now it's fine. Nothing to really get worked up about. It's probably the first thing all new Xbox One owners will buy anyway.

It's just a way to make a bit more money for MS selling the charge kit separately. Also I've had the same PS3 controller for 5 years and it still charges just fine. Maybe doesn't last as long but certainly long enough for a few hours gaming.

Main character is wholly unlikable

I agree. Surely they do focus groups at Sucker Punch. Is that the best main protagonist they could come up with. A cocky emo kid with annoying catchphrases? FFS what target audience are they hoping to grab with that? I really want to play as a spoilt brat SP thanks. At least with Cole you could empathise with the character despite his one dimension.

Game looks great and I guess even better in daylight. Only thing is I can see me routing for the bad guys in this one.

The fact that they've not tacked a 4 on the title or even a subtitle yet points to a reboot of some kind or even a new main protagonist. Either way it will be a beautiful masterpiece with the best developer in the world pushing the PS4 to it's limits.

I for one cannot wait. Perfect timing as well as I just finished the first Uncharted again last night and I'm moving onto 2 tonight. Getting me in the mood for more treasure hunting hi-jinks.

A shame that the delay in Watch Dogs and Drive Club have really left Sony with a bit of a damp squib. Add a top racing game and an eagerly anticipated IP to the launch and it wouldn't have looked half bad. As it is it just looks very bare bones. By late next year we should be swimming in exclusives.
