Imagine how badass would be if they made "wobble" a functional voice comment on PS4. That'd be amazing stab at self-irony. They'd just have to find a way to replicate it through internal hardware, like find a proper frequency of the fan that would cause the machine to wobble.
Imagine walking in your living room and shouting "PS4 - wobble on"!
I own a PS4.
There isn't a rubber foot on the glossy side of the console, so if you press it down, it will tilt. The three rubber feet that are on the bottom are enough to prop it up and it sits nice and flat. It's not like you're going to stack anything on top of the PS4, so this is not an issue. It doesn't wobble unless you make it wobble.
"My 400 dollar gaming console wobbles a little when I deliberately press down on it in a certain spot."
1st world problems- actually not even... This wobble stuff is probably the dumbest complaint I've heard in a long time.
Of course is 1st world problem, this is next gen consoles we're talking about.
If I got shipped a PC case that doesn't stay put when you touch it I would turn it back thinking there was some problems with manufacturing this thing. Is not the end of the world but, why the hell should it wobble. Strange design decision if you ask me.

Sorry.
I was gonna type something lengthy to reinforce my stance in response, but honestly, the discussion of this topic feels pretty pointless to me. No offence to you personally though. I just don't wanna risk myself getting disgruntled over something as silly as this. heh

You're in SW, where people always act over dramatic for small things. I wouldn't take it so seriously.
PS4 wobbling is not the end of the world. Just a strange design choice that's all.
Sorry.

I guess. Though, not as strange as the PS3's second slim design.
Not that it's a big deal if it wobbles or not in the first place, but that guy is probably just a mega cow and he already stuck felt feet under it or something before shooting the video. Just so he can show his doesn't wobble.
I wonder how long it will take the usual fanboys to come in and say theirs doesn't wobble either...hmmm.
The PS4 wobble reminds me of that old joke.
Guy goes to the doctor and tells his doctor: "it hurts every time I touch myself here." The doctor replies: "Well then stop touching yourself there"
If you don't want the PS4 to wobble then don't push down on it. The system is motionless when you don't touch it.
Mine wobbles. It really doesn't matter once it's all set up and on the shelf. But still. How does this detail not get fixed? It makes it feel like the final PS 4 design was rushed.

Hah! Spot on.
Doesn't matter where you press it:

His PS4 doesn't wobble
He probably shaved off the plastic that is sticking out on the bottom of every PS4. lol!! If you turn your PS4 over and look at the pretruding line of plastic sticking out from the center, you will see why the PS4 wobbles when you push down on it. I have no idea why Sony left those plastic pieces there. There aren't any vents under the PS4.

All electronic devices have some sort of rubber or plastic feet on them to prevent it from sliding around and scratching the floor. This issue is that Sony only put 3, with 1 on the far end and two in the middle. Why do that? Why couldn't they just put four?
Either way I've seen 3 PS4's in person and they all wobble. No denying it. In fact as soon as I saw my buddies PS4 the first thing I asked was "Can I.....wobble it?"
@olliescouse: Um hes not pressing down on the correct side lol.
i use post it notes all the time so if it makes them dissappear it is a huge flaw in the design.
gawd!
sony!
leave my post-its alone!!!

1. It doesn't wobble. If you press down hard on the glossy left side, the right side will rise up 1/16th of an inch. But it doesn't wobble at all during normal operation and sits perfectly stable. I have a PS4 and I have been testing this myself. It's perfectly fine. This is not an issue. It does not wobble or shake or anything out of the ordinary. The right side of the console is so heavy that you have to press down pretty hard on the left side to get it to lift up.
2. The rubber/plastic "feet" on the bottom protects the main case from scratches and keeps heat off of the surface it's sitting on.
Hope this help you out.
Its not that big of a problem as long as it doesn't wobble on its own. The only possible issue would be if someone put their hand on it and while you were playing and it scratched your disk. But I doubt its enough wobble to have that effect. In reality, the biggest issue is just a perception of less quality because this this design flaw.
Wow a new low even for cows. Just accept it you saddos and get over it
They have lol, it's Lems who keep bringing it up as though justifying themselves why they did not purchase a PS4.
don't believe me Cows haven't gotten over it ? the fact is reinforced by the matter of Cows who've not only purchased a PS4 but decided not to return it upon discovering the "Wobble".
Trust me on this, over the next couple years it'll be Lems who haven't "gotten over it". Feel free to counter that.
