Bringing the format war to the consoles was sort of a stupid idea to begin with. If the PS3 wanted to use the Blu-Ray format for its games, then so be it. I don't understand what was Microsoft's reason behind an HD-DVD add-on anyways, especially since they've been distributing movies digitally via XBOX Live Marketplace.
Never tried it, that's actually a pretty good question. I know the X-Plorer controller works on the PC though, there's a freeware program that simulates Guitar Hero (although it's a pretty crummy game with some bad choice of music).
The Wii is family oriented and most people that never really play video games always take a second glance and a sudden interest in it when they see it being played. Pretty much the Wii is selling on word-of-mouth alone.
The game sold me not because of its graphics, but how very well it simulates real life. I'm in the military, and I was astonished at how accurate the game was in terms of getting its military information down. From the weapons, tactical formations, use of radio transmissions, and even just the way people reacted made me feel closer to doing the real thing...without, you know, actually GETTING shot.
Well you know, if Nintendo didn't kick so much ass with its Wii this generation, your dream of Pokemon on the 360 might've happen, as Microsoft stated at one point that if Nintendo were to ever sell itself, Microsoft would purchase it as the highest bidder no matter what the price wouldn't hesitation. If this were to happen, I'm pretty much sure Microsoft would have an immediate upper hand in the gaming business regardless of how far up Sony was in video game market share.
Like the guy above me said, the wireless headset is the way to go. The only problem with this headset is that the mic tends to magnify your voice and any sound going on around you, so this may bother other players. I've only had my friends tell me this though; regular everyday online gamers don't seem to have a problem with it. Just thought I'd throw that info out there.
