i could still get 100% note streak on hard or expert. i don't use my finger to press the button. the gh3's back button is designed so that all you have to do is press it with your palm while your finger is on the strum. unless your a lefty then the back button would be on the bottom

Hm. I'll give it a try sometime. That's pretty cool you can "palm mute" the back button lol.

Birdo, that's what the wannabe Yoshi's scalled lolBenjamin-T

It says in the manual of the original NES Super Mario Bros. 2, "Birdo is a male dinosaur that thinks its a female". But in every single iteration of that character afterwards, it's simply a female. Birdo may be the first transvestite in video game history.

i fink i might actually give RB a bash, i didnt know you could play it with the GH guitarGMcConville92

Rock Band in the end is a seriously better game. I'm not saying Guitar Hero sucks, because I'm very competitive when it comes to playing that game, but Activision seriously screwed something up to the point where Guitar Hero III lost some of its fun and charm that was in Guitar Hero II. Yes the track list is better, but it its assembly of everything else just made it a bad experience. If you have the money, opt out for Rock Band. The drums may not interest you all that much, but unlike Guitar Hero where you're being made fun of for playing with an instrument and knowing you may not have any real serious music skills, the drums mimic the real thing to the point where you are actually playing the drums if you play it on hard, and you're actually playing the drum part of each song note by note on extreme.

[QUOTE="rockstar_88"]I would opt out for the Les Paul (GH3) controller, but pretty much the guitar is useless because the tilt functionality doesn't seem responsive 95% of the time, making star power utterly useless. Star power is pretty much the most essential part of the series, and if I can't even activate it, there's no reason to use Les Paul to begin with. So I'm going with the 2nd one. It's smaller design, wimpy whammy bar, and small strum bar may be a design flaw, but at least it works.ImajinMyFX

you can just press the back button to use star power instead of tilting the guitar... its easier to press it on the gh3 guitar since the button is bigger then the gh2

Pretty much pressing the back button detracts from the experience to begin with. I play Guitar Hero on the harder difficulties, not a lot of people can hit the back button and go back to the strum bar in 1/4th of a seconds time without seriously damaging their streaks. Some of us want that 100% note streak. When it comes down to it, the GH3 controller is still seriously flawed.

Call of Duty 4. It seems like one of those games that people will still be playing in 2010 online. As for the others, they haven't come out yet, so I can't tell you anything. Virtual Fighter 5 I haven't played myself.

The drums in Rock Band. Never played the drums before so this is hard but so much fun!JeremyMGS

Seriously? I found it to be the easiest instrument in Rock Band. If you can keep a beat and know the tempo of each song from the get-go, you'll pretty much do fine through most of the songs on Hard.

Birdo from Super Mario Bros. 2.

But I have to agree with the guy that said Final Fantasy. A lot of the male characters in the game wear some questionably skimpy clothing, especially Vaan. If not the clothes, definitely their long hair and deep blue eyes.

....

I said nothing.
