S-Video does not have video and audio in one cable. You still need the audio cables (white and red) plugged in.

EGM said it best. It's not a game that has a beginning, middle, and end. It's a game that has a beginning, middle, and an advertisment. It's one of the worst endings since Halo 2.

My equation for Dead Rising:

A huge mall + a ton of items x your imagination = Dead Rising.

Basicaly you go around and you can grab whatever items you can get, and you can use them as weapons and dispatch your enemies in any way you see fit. The game also has a lot of branching storylines as the game is giving you a set amount of time to complete your objectives (and replay the campaign to play the other ones you missed). It's a bit on the difficult side, and you can probably unlock everything in a couple weeks if you're good enough at it, but you may wind up fusturated before you accomplish them.

Yeah it's slated for the 360 fairly soon, although it's going to be a stripped down version of the PS3 one. I'll have to look up the details on it, but from what I've read the PS3 got the better end in terms of content.

Nowadays it's FPS and TPS (third person shooters). Back then it didn't really hold off as an interesting genre, but since Bioshock came out, the genre has consistantly surprised me with storytelling elegance that in some cases are good and even better than how past RPGs have presented them. After that I would have to say action adventure games (a la Grand Theft Auto, Devil May Cry, Uncharted, etc.) and RPGs.

Like I mentioned before, The Orange Box. You have Team Fortress 2 when you're online, the entire Half-Life 2 series offline.

Wow, this almost sounds like an empty threat. The best way to deal with an empty threat is to just ignore it, because all they want is attention.

The Orange Box is definitely going to take a while to beat. The rhythm music games can keep you entertain for a long time, especially Rock Band. Call of Duty 4 is also a really good bet; the online multiplayer's stat building is going to keep you hooked for a long time (longer than Halo 3). The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is also a really good choice, as there's always something you can do.

Well if we know anything about Japanese developers when they try to make shooters of any kind, they LOVE them checkpoints. Halo 3 scored well with the Japanese because of the numerous checkpoints, making the game easier for them. So I know this game will be difficult, but it won't punish you severely for dying.
