I remember this one time when I was playing Halo 2 with my friends online, this kid modded the match so that we'd always respawn and die, so he just began to rack up points and than taunted us about how much we sucked at it. So my and my buddies set him straight by telling him mean things, like "You're mom doesn't love you" and stuff like that. He started crying over the mic, and got his dad on there, and he started cursing at us for hurting his feelings. Good times. :)

Bad. Activision made the game unnecessarily difficult for those that just want to play it casually. It's pretty much to the point where they sucked everything out of the series that made it fun to begin with. I can't necessarily point out what that is, but there's just none of that magic I get when I pp in the game like I did when I used to play 2 all the time.

Sweet. The game ditching traditional linear gameplay was inspired by Half-Life 2? Count me in! There was a part in Half-Life 2 that scared the sh*t out of me, this game will definitely be interesting.

Well it's not like I couldn't live without it, but I'd be missing the whole reason why the XBOX 360 is so great to begin with.

Half-Life for the PS2. After a while, I could't stand to play the game for more than an hour at a time because the boxy enviorments made and quick jefky movements (the game came out the same day Halo 1 did, so the game's analog sensitivity sucked) and Gordon's ability to glide at 60 mph when he's walking and sliding before he stops. Ugh.

I was fooled into thinking it was a third person shooter with a bit of an RPG twist. I was mistakened, and for that the game kicked my ass until I actually commited into figuring out what all the stats mean. I will tell you this right now: the game will require some patience.

All 360 models will eventually get the Red Ring of Death. But you'll still be covered under the three year warranty, and the later models have a longer lifespan than the previous iterations.

Keep it off the floor. I highly recommend putting it on a flat elevated surface with plenty of ventilation. Make sure you keep your console horizontal too. I've had my 360 scratch discs to the point of unrepairability because I left it up vertically.

Pretty well. Since there are five games in The Orange Box, the comparison is almost unfair. Personally I play Call of Duty 4 more just because it gives me a sense of freedome with my weapons, but the Box is great for its single player campaign storytelling.

There are no such thing as a perfect game. However, I believe if a games positives severly outweighs its negatives, than it deserves high scores and praise.
