Are DVDs in HD on 360?

I have a HDTV with my 360 and i have it at 720p. Im wondering, when you watch DVDs, are they in HD?

No you need HD-dvd add on and HD-dvd movies for that.

If you put a DVD in the HD-DVD add-on, it upscales the picture to 720p (I think).
