@masterkushh: Not necessarily. People like this speedrunner guy has been playing Dark Souls for years. The formula is more or less the same for him and the challenge isn't as great. If you're playing it for the first time, I'm sure you would find it a challenge.

Since I am very turned off by the Goosebumps movie, Rob Letterman as director already puts a damper on the excitement level.
@xenomorphalien: Easy. From the financial investment in their projects, they don't see a good enough of a return and it can break dev studios overnight. That's why AAA devs tend to play it safe, pumping sequel after sequel.
@jayz0ned: Interestingly enough, the origin of Tuesday releases originated with Sonic the Hedgehog by SEGA to essentially drive hype because release dates prior to that was all over the place world wide and customers didn't have a good clue when a game will come out. While not all games are released on Tuesdays in other countries, it was more about marketing their games the same way movies do more than establishing any kind of tradition.
