Until all other industries stop the resale of used goods, I don't feel game publishers have relevance in this topic. If we can sell used cars, books, furniture, and everything else, why can't we sell used games? It makes no sense to me. Perhaps if the industry actually produces games people can be addicted to for long periods of times, this would not be an issue. I am not much fan of paying $60 for a game that interests me for only a few hours.
Nope, not interested. Might be okay if you can get a good group of friends to immerse yourself with. However, with all the other dunderheads running around acting like idiots, it's going to break the immersion. I'll pass.
