@nadsat-77: If you're already expecting it to be a disappointing experience and all this blather about broken promises, why are you even bothering to buy this game still?
@jvconroy: The only problem with your comment is you didn't read the article. It clearly says it's a digital series taking on a TV show format. Doesn't mean it's going to be a success, though. Remains to be seen.
I enjoyed the game myself, but I didn't catch interest from those YouTubers. It does highlight the fact I very rarely will watch a channel like PewDiePie because I can't trust anything he has to say if he gets paid to promote various games.
Risk? I don't see it that way. If they didn't take WW1 to a fictional alternate history direction, they might be taking a risk. Yet, they simply use WW1 as a backdrop, throw fiction in there so it could still feel like Battlefield. Just don't feel a point in buying BF1 at this point. I'll stick to BF4.
