Last PC game I bought at retail was SC2 on release day (for the extras) but never again will I bother buying retail. PC digital games are generally far cheaper (AUS) and more convenient than retail games.

GMG has always been an awesome place to buy games especially for Aussies. This new policy is just icing on the cake :)

Starcraft / Starcraft 2: Introduced me to the exciting world of e-sports.

DotA / DotA 2: Phenomenal WC3 mod with incredible depth and its just icing on the cake with Valve developing DotA 2.

WoW: My first and last MMO. I stopped playing it three years ago but in terms of shear awe and enjoyment, no other game I have played has matched WoW.

So far Planetside 2 has been a treat to play. Loving the scale of battle, tactical play and amazing amount of UI options.

[QUOTE="mep69"]Everyone is jumping on the MMO bandwagon these days.FelipeInside
Maybe, but if any game can be a perfect setting for an MMO, Elder Scrolls is definately the one. It has so much lore and such a big area.

I thought that was Warcraft :P

As a PC gamer 2012 has been a stellar year and certainly beats the last few years :)

For me, digital is by far the better option as it is generally much cheaper than retail copies thanks to aussie price gauging and it is far more convenient.
