Just launched on Steam, free to play, never got round to trying the beta but I must say the prospect of 2000 players in one battle is appealing. Will probably give this a go, looks good.

Been excited for this, in the last week of the beta they fixed hundreds of bugs. It's in a decent state really.

Yeah in the beginning you die a lot. Takes a long time before you get the hang of things fully, I still haven't a clue most times

Needs more work. As of when I played about two weeks ago, the only place that was ever really a hotzone was "The Crown".

On my 670 I was getting 30-50 frames sometimes when there weren't a lot of people around or not much happening. And that was the lowest settings. Sometimes it would smooth out to higher numbers but overall it was hugely inconsistent for me.

There is in game cash to buy stuff for the game. So you pay real money to get "station cash" that translates to the game world

Read on totalbiscuit's twitter that he is getting double the framerate in the final release than he was getting in the beta.

Played a lot of the beta, the Ultra graphics was locked out during that but I hope they optimized it enough that I can get good enough frames with Ultra settings.

Runs 30-40 FPS on high during the big fights for me. Medium settings never went under 50, low would be in the 100s.

They haven't even put in the ultra setting because it's targeting computers that aren't even available yet.

Didn't like the beta very much, the scale was awesome but then I noticed that the actual gameplay was pretty damn boring.

Downloading now. I loved the beta, can't wait to get going with the final release. Even more excited because Nvidia released a beta driver set with big performance increases for Planetside 2.

just got thru playing it for like an hour and a half and boy was it hectic and fun! game froze so i am quitting for now! but from what i played it played smooth with vsync off, everything on high except no ambient occlusion. (gtx 570 w/ 2500k)

Although some of the ground/rock textures are really crappy (unless they updated them since the beta)
