On the E-shop go all the way to the left to settings, then go to downloads and find them on the list

So far the ambassador experience overall has been pretty lackluster.

First we have to go find the games hidden within the eshop menus, scroll down past all the crap you downloaded previously, download one, then go through the whole process all over again. They couldn't have made that a little more intuitive?

Then when we finally do the whole thing 10 times we have to go 'unwrap' each game, not a big deal, but slightly annoying.

So you finally get a game going, and realize there's no save state option, so unless you plan on playing through Mario in one sitting or playing level 1 50 times, you're screwed. And to cap it all off, the button controls are awkward as all hell on some of the games.

On a slightly OT note, it'd be nice if you could make a folder so the 3DS dashboard isn't so cluttered. And you can't delete anything without going into the system settings.... oye.

[QUOTE="DustinTheWind"] I can't believe they still haven't fixed this. This is also a problem in many Wii VC games if you use the Classic controller, making the controller all but worthless because of how hard it is to run and jump with the A B set up. How simple would it have been to fix this... come on Nintendo. DJ_Lae
Wait, it's not even an option on Wii NES games? Oh man, we'll probably never get the option to swap buttons then. I only have SNES VC games there, so I haven't gotten around to trying an older NES title.

Yeah, I bought the Classic controller for Super Mario World I think it was, then tried it on SMB and SMB 3, the controls are as awkward (maybe even more so) than the 3DS layout. Pure laziness or stupidity on Nintendo's part. They had to have tested these games and realized this.

[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"]Hopefully the later released 'full' versions offer save states. As it is, with the way I play games (in short bursts and alternating various titles), the NES classics are useless. Also, they really need an option to swap buttons, as using B + A on the 3DS is really awkward for running in Mario.

Which one do you think has the best replability? Thanks

pacific90
It has been forever since I played either, but I'd say Tactics. It's less linear and has more character options.

meh the nes wasn't a great system elbert_b_23

Actually, it was. I'd give you some reasons why, but come on, it's just a simple, known fact. No need to explain. It may have been before your time, or it may have not been something you enjoyed, but it was one of the greatest systems of all time. Period.

I've noticed this in Pilot Wings, Street Fighter, and Resident Evil. I don't know how common it is, but I have to turn down the 3D and hold it very still or I get the double vision. Frustrating.

[QUOTE="DustinTheWind"]

Not within 5 months they don't. Nintendo had a 'right' to drop the price, but we have a right to be pissed off about it (or be happy, or whatever), even if they are giving us some free games.

I'm baffled as to why they'd include golf. Honestly, what percent of ambassadors will care (or even download and play) an NES version of golf? It's almost insulting. At least most of the rest of the list is decent...ish.

Haziqonfire

People knew that the thing was coming out for $249.99 and they knew what kind of line up was available at launch and the upcoming months. Many people didn't get a 3DS until there was a price drop, they were waiting till more games or a reduced price. If people couldn't wait, I'd say that's their own fault for being upset. I wanted a 3DS the day it came out and I basically got it around launch, regardless of whether it was $249.99 or $169.99 I would've got it anyway.

The early adopters were promised things that never came or came late or came in a disappointing way (from the late eshop to the lackluster 3D video to the horrible browser, no Youtube, the music player that you can't hear without headphones, games they made sound like were coming soon, 3rd party support that sounded like it would be game after game....) reducing the price I (personally) would have been willing to pay at launch if I'd known the truth. And again, people who pay full price at launch have an expectation that a system will stay that price for probably at least a year. We know we're paying premium price to have it early, but how many of us would have waited if we'd thought it might be dropped by August? Not many I'd wager.

So, I've always been under the impression that it's best for rechargable batteries to use up all their power, and then charge them. But sometimes that leaves my 3DS with not so much power left.

Do you guys use it until it runs out, and then charge it? Or put it on the cradle all the time so it's always ready to go..?

glimpus
You should feel free to charge it after every time you play. That's what the cradle is for. You aren't harming the battery. It has a certain amount of 'full' charges (500 I think?) but if you only use up half the battery and then charge it it only counts as 1/2 a charge of the ~500.
