don matrick is insane and out of touch with realoity and the only reason why kinect sold on the xbox 360 is because they marketed to cluless casual people by putting the thing on oprah and jimmy fallon and got lucky. after everybody got it home they found out how much it sucked and don't want it anymore and how much of a hassle it is to make enough room in front of the damn tv to move around to use it.

Anything sells if it has been on fricking oprah even if its crap.

When you cant tell who the iconic characters from the old game are from a distance then that is a problem and if nobody plastered the killer instect name on it nobody would know that is fricking jago and saberwulf fighting.

My wallet just voted this is the first time ever I have no plans to ever purchase all 3 consoles in a cycle and I have been doing that since the 8 and 16bit days.

I remember when 1st xbox and xbox 360 used to be the cool USA PC style console that was clearly made to be a high quailty game machine and everythng that had was done to try and improve games. I used to love my old xbox and xbox 360 as a sega replacement./

Sabrewolf looks like fricking cartoony almost anime John tablain from darkstalkers now and nothing like how he used to a very usa styled wolf man character with glowing eyes. it's like some japan studio tried to make a usa style John talbain it looks wrong.

It is too cartoony the old game was trying to be dark USA styled with what they had back in the early days of CGI. riptor was clearly a jurrasic park raptor ripoff made to show the CGI that is where in time that was and they are no longer doing that they changed too much that did not have to be changed and updated things in the wrong way.

I don't care how long time has passed they should at least look something like the old character renders. they don't they messed with them way to much and jago has a laser sword most of the time not a normal blade if you want to show off a new console a laser blade is obvious sparks and lighting from the blade. That is why they had one on the arcade game that entire game was made to show off hardware and pre rendered effects it should be outragiously over the top and dark with everything and lighting effects everywhere..

I question weather or not the art team played the arcade or SNES or n64 games at all.

The only thing they did nail the partcle effects from fireballs they have tons of them when it explodes just like the old arcade game but that is pretty much it.

I wont comment on the fighting yet since I have not played it....( But I might get a chance when I make my way down to microsofts booth.)

if they tried this with mortal kombat or street fighter it would not fly either.
