I liked it because it was raw live footage...... staring at the floor even with nobody saying anything is fun.

Oh and it looks like ass it looks like a xbox 360 or ps3 game so who the hell cares. i can get way better fighting games on a xbox 360.  some of them even look better than this crap new ki game.

That joke of a game is not a real killer instict game it is a low budget rushed japanese capcom street fighter 4 darstalkers rip off game they are calling a ki game.

looks nothing like it don't have anyhing that made the old game cool.

i played it at places like evo it sucks balls..

i could care less it is not worth $500 and i used to love ki.

Auctally it took me years to take any of gamespot series since gurstmann gate...But Tom mcshae makes me not take it serious again.

I would have booed the game because that game looks nothing like 

Killer Instinct and the art looks horrible on top of the xbox one crap that made me not want to buy one anymore.

Wake me if double helix gets a clue and finds out what Killer Instinct is because they have not done it they have made a genric capcom game clone that looks like street fighter 4.

This thread looks like its almost dead but I will give my input. I have done tons of research in purchasing a new TV. This is the one I settled on:
KDF-46E2000 Sony 3LCD rear projection TV. I will say it is out of your price range. But, the smaller 42" version (KDF-42E2000) on Amazon is around $850 after shipping (depending on who has it in stock). Why I choose this TV line:

-LCDs are amazing, but once pixels go bad, your viewing will be less than lackluster once you start focusing on thosesparkly little distractions. Last 4-5 years
-Plasma- amazing color but again, you will have to replace your TV in 4-5 years.
-DLPs-nice but, having to replace impossible to fine color wheels sucks and can be very expensive. Not to mention noisy (it shouldn't have to compete with your 360 on the decibel meter).
-3LCD- Better than DLPs but not the picture of a LCD or Plasma. Has a replaceable (and affordable) bulb ($150USD) that you can by right from Sony. It also defuses light from outside sources making your gaming experience better without the distraction from your lamps or PC.

They have a new 1080P version...if I had the cash, I would have gotten that one instead but, since I graduated from college, my student loans are rolling in (and my wife might be upset by the $500 difference).

If you wanted a CRT (yea I know), Toshiba makes a nice one.

Toshba CRT don't have Sony's "super fine pitch" tech and the tech they tried to copy from sony's crt is not as good. Sony's trinitron tech patent expired since they had it so long. Now everybody tried to copy there tubes and it comes out lacking.

I like the sony xbrCRT better than the 1080p sony XBR bravia LCd I keep in the movie room, it is the biggist fattist 36 inch CRT ever though and an old man i know tried to move it and he threw out his back.

It also takes PS3 and PSP memory sticks.

You can get a dead pixel with a LCD out of the box so it's life span is not that important, by the time they die you will need another tv, and LCd are backlit anyway so you still will have to replace a lamp or toss the TV.

Rear projection always looks washed out and black levels are not a perfect black very bad for dark games like metroid. I took 4 rear projection TV's back to the store over the yearssince I was never happy with them.

I see the screen door and rainbows of the spining mirror on DLPs so I had to take all DLP i tried back to the store and Then I just got the Sony LCD, and decided to skip LCD for gamesand just get the Sony XBR CRT for games and use MY NES xbox 360 wii what ever on the CRT and not have any problems.

DLp give me migrains. I am waiting for Orgainic LCD OLED to come out and see if they do a better job than DLP,lcd and plasma.

and yes sony Brava line is the best of LCD, sharp aqious is also nice. The non XBR bravia's LCDnot so good there ok I use a sony BRavia xbr for blueray and HD-dvdmovies. anything sony with out the XBR label has been cut down to size.

And they only look good if you feed a 100% digital singal at it's native res. If your cable tvlooks bad then it is not HDor not at theLCD's native res.

So ya Do not get this the CRT Tube is poor and the only way any body would be happy is if the are blind and or color blind, or very old and can not see straight or need glasses.

Don't buy a TV until you look at it in personAsk them to hook up an XBOX if they want a sale they will do it.

I have seen tubes like these in the store since i stop byTV departments while i get games for my own fun .CRt tube like are in that TV. They are justnot fun to look at, get a Real picture tube a Sony xbr tube crt. I spent $2000 for my sony XBR CRT like 3 years ago and they are like down to $1500 in some places.

My first job in 1997 was to calibrate HDTV's and install home theaters trust me on this.

Ohh and the sony xbr960 is 200 pounds the weight sizeis not an issue you buy it for the picture and power.

CRT Tube TV's are better than any other kind of FLAT HDTv plasma LCD, DLP what ever. CRT tubes have been around for 50 years and have set the standard.

Those wimpy flat slims HDTV like LCD's/dlp/plasma/locos are trying to match CRT ube HDTV for sheer picture quailty and none of them come close no matter how much they cost. Like sharps TV ad on how black there LCD's are when CRT is perfect black all the time. "Black enhances color" No duh sharp you are trying to match a CRT with your LCD.

LCD will andcan LAG and have ghosting effects if they are not fast enough with any interlaced format.They will up scale 480p pictures to there native res and they look the worst. CRT tubes do not have this problem and can display any res with out up scale.

If you get a flatl then you will have feed a flat pannel a pure signal in it's native res or you will have an up scale problem and it will look ugly.

DLP and any other flat Slim HDTVlike those cheep "Vizos" or what ever will have theere own set of problems and I am not going to spend 13 pages listing them.

You can also play old games and use light guns with CRT HDTV's with out the problems those weak flat HDtv;s have since that format was made for CRTs.

IF you are getting a Tube CRT hdtv do not get anything less than sony wega xbr 960, There "super fine pitch" aparture grill CRT is the best most high tec CRT tube around.

I use a Sony Xbr 960 for all my games and a 60 inch sony XBR LCD for FLim and blueray movies since blueray disc run at a 1080p native res it is not a problem. You can only get CRT up to 34 inch since they would be to heavy at 60 inches.

The sony xbr CRT line kills all the flat pannels in just looking better than anything else it's crt tube type is the standard for black, color levels and detail.
