Both consoles still only render in 720P. Both consoles require mandatory Day 1 patches just to be able to function out of the box. Both consoles had plans to instate horrendous anti-consumer DRM policies. Both consoles explicitly state in there End User Agreements that they will record and sell your personal information to 3rd parties (NSA). Both consoles had originally planned to ban you from selling your games to friends or to Gamestop. Both consoles rely too heavily on Cloud Storage, meaning that if the Cloud breaks down, all your media is FUCKED, and both companies will simply reply "boo hoo, 2bad4u. Deal with it". Both consoles are riddled with useless gimmicks (Xbone= mandatory Kinect, PSnore=SHARE TO FACEBOOK/social media EVERYWHERE). And WORST of all, despite being labeled as highly powerful, unstoppable gaming machines, both consoles still fail in comparison to a $600 gaming computer in every way fathomable. I mean, need I go on?
This generation of consoles is a fucking JOKE. And it only gets worse from here.

IT JUST. KEEPS. HAPPENING! God damn it. Looks like I'm stuck with 8 more years of BROWN-N-BLOOM and RAMIREZ! TAKE DOWN THAT AC-130 WITH THIS THROWING KNIFE! instead of games that actually try something new and succeed. Is it so wrong that I actually want a game with some fucking color and charm? I've played enough games that take place in muddy, sandy, dusty old corridors. But I guess creativity and charm don't sell in today's industry.
Come on Rockstar, revive a game actually worth reviving. You had the balls to make a torture scene in GTA V (albeit a bit "ham handed" in its delivery"), and you fully admit to your love of the stealth genre, so why not combine the 2? Not like you don't have enough money to take the risk in making a Manhunt 3. All I ask is that you don't censor it, or if you absolutely must (like Manhunt 2) at least leave the coding open ended so we can disable the censoring (thank god for Manhunt 2 on PSP. Yay for being able to remove that grainy over lay image and seeing all the executions in all their bloody goodness).
People were offended with the first Manhunt, and that was back before the almost photo realistic graphics we have now. Imagine how awesome the gore effects/executions would look by today's standards. If any company has the balls to pull it off, it's you Rockstar.

So really we've learned a very important lesson here today boys and girls- it is perfectly ok to make a game where you mutilate hundreds upon thousands of male characters without issue, but the moment you show violence against a woman? BRACE FOR BACKLASH. The people who made GTA V have given perfectly logical and rational explanations for why there is no female lead. They're the artists of the game, its world, and it's story. You, as a consumer, have zero right to force them into changing their art. Don't like it? Don't buy it. No one is forcing you to play GTA V. Controversial art has it's place amongst any other art form. Deal with it

You're telling me that a strong, independent female solider, who could take your head off from half a mile away, who is attractive and dresses practical to the climate is now offensive, and makes Hideo Kojima, one of gamings most respected game developers, a "Manchild?" What about Sniper Wolf? She was blonde, blue eyes, and wore a catsuit that she unzipped down to show off her cleavage. Or the Beauty and the Beast unit? 4 girls of various ethnic backgrounds, psychologically tormented, thrown in tight latex cat suits, and once you defeated them, would pose for a private photo shoot? And no one freaked out about that, right? Oh ya... Because the "feminist agenda" didn't exist back then, did it?
This is the sad state of video gaming. That if you include an attractive female character, no matter how strong, no matter how skilled, no matter how important she is to the story, if she has big breasts, or dresses slightly too "scantily" your game is offensive and should immediately be changed to suit the needs and wants of a handful of gamers. I'm not going to play MGS5 because Silence or Quiet or whatever her name is is dressing "lewdly". I couldn't give two shits about that. I'm playing MGS5 because I want to play MGS5. Any developer that caves in to this feminist agenda is only pouring gas onto the fire of ruining gaming forever.

... I fail to see how this article is relevant. They're 2 sides of the same coin. Both are just generic military shooters. nothing more, nothing less.
