Man... i want whatever the hell the Microsoft is smoking. i;ve heard and experienced incredibly restrictive DRM countermeasures before (Sim City anyone?) but this is just fucking LUDICROUS. are they TRYING to turn me off from buying this piece of gar-bitch? are they TRYING to alienate all their user base? are they TRYING to make me believe always online is good for any game/ game system at ANY TIME? are they TRYING to fulfill the mantra of "Big Brother Microsoft is always watching?" god... what the hell has this industry come to? $60 games with 20-40 dollars of DLC, Online Passes, always online DRM, no physical copies of games anymore, just downloaded to the hard drive, no physical disc drive, no backwards compatibility, paying 60$ yearly to have a service INFESTED with ads, and so many other anti-consumer bullshit that to write it all out would take a week straight. dear god, i am PRAYING for another video game market crash so we can get back to the basics. buy game, insert game into console, PLAY FULL GAME. jesus christ. R.I.P video games, i only wish your death was quick and painless, and not prolonged into what you are today.

OH BOY! i can;t wait to play another 3rd person, covered based military shooter IN SPACE with horrid Co-Op and forced multiplayer! cuz ya know, EA hasn't made enough of those in recent years! oh, and i can't forget the online pass, insane EULA agreements, day 1 on-disc DLC, pre-order bonus characters/ guns which turn the games difficulty from "this takes skill!`to `"TROLOLOLOLOL 360 N0-SC0PEZ 4LYFE" "better with Kinect" crap, and always-online DRM even when i just want to play single player, and of course "we wanted to appeal to the Call of Duty/ cellphone gaming" audience. that will make for another GREAT Mass Effect game! its gonna be like Mass Effect 3 all over again!!
how i long for a Mass Effect game where i can just drive around in the Mako again and explore foreign, uncharted plantes and see what little secrets the developers hid for me to find, or feel my choices in the game actually mattered in the end game, how it used to focused more on conversations with all the games characters then a linear corridor shooter where the conversations had the moral depth of a puddle, how the lore was rich and deep instead of "HURR we lesser organics created synthetics to kill lesser organics who created lesser synthetics who could one day rise up to kill the organics rulers that built them and then kill us". but alas, once EA has its claws in your company and its intellectual property, you and your games are doomed to mediocrity.
