@bmoreninja777: Yes, I think it will get a fall 2019 release, though a fall 2018 release would put it 2 years from 4. Who knows, i'd be happy with either as long as it's good. I really liked 4 but it could have been a tad longer, still, 4 was a great game
It's early but here's my prediction for E3 2018, Halo 6, Gears 5, Playground games will announce the non forza game they have been working on as well as reveal Horizon 4, Fable will make it's return with a proper game. Now a few long shots, a new ip (maybe more but for now i'll say 1), a new perfect dark, new splinter cell, and my super long shot... Sunset Overdrive 2.
I think they will announce it e3 2018 for a possible 2018 fall-holiday release, but more likely Halo 6 will get a 2019 release. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, if they nail a good story around the Chief and maybe make the campaign a bit longer and have a good marketing strategy with teasers, news, trailers and such (look at the amazing marketing around Deadpool as an example of good marketing), Halo 6 could come back with a vengeance. Halo multiplayer is always huge and popular, 343 needs to put a refocus on the single player while continuing to build on Halo's already great multiplayer, do that and I think you could see a return to form for the Halo franchise.
I really enjoyed the whole conference, a lot of great games were on display from multi plat stuff to exclusives (crackdown3!), the id@xbox segment had a lot of great games. Xbox 1X looks pretty awesome, though in Canadian$ it's a bit out of my price range, but on the whole I liked what I saw and I feel they had a great conference. Oh I almost forgot, og xbox backward compatibility sounds awesome, I'll end with a disclaimer that this is all just my opinion, I hope you have an awesome day and enjoy E3 2017!
