Xbox's exclusives are better in my opinion and I wanted the media hub it provided. Plus most of my gamer buds like Xbox the most and the controller. I never hated Sony, just didn't have much interest in it. I do think when the Pro is cheaper likely this winter I may jump in and grab a few titles that interest me, but I've never thought PS4 had better games than Xbox One based on my own preference. I didn't enjoy 360 titles more because it was outselling PS3 for so long, and I haven't enjoyed Xbox One games any less because Sony is curb stomping them sales wise. Its all about your own preference at the end of the day.

Not disappointed at all. Loved the first game, and this one is three times bigger with co-op and in 4k - Looks great to me - plus it'll be supported with new content likely for the next two years. I've bought plenty of shitty $60 games over the twenty years plus I've been a gamer. The cost of the game has zero to do with its quality, your enjoyment of it, or its ultimate success commercially. SoD 2 is a day one Game Pass download!

I have no problem at all with Gaas so long as I'm enjoying the game. Game quality matters far more than MT'S. If the game is great and I'm enjoying myself I don't care about loot boxes/MT/DLC/Season Pass Only thing that matters is fairness in multiplayer and my own personal enjoyment. **** everything else.

I think you greatly underestimate how many people just have no interest in PC gaming. I'm one of them. Its not a diss, its just I have never wanted to build a gaming PC and I enjoys the ease of consoles. So for MS if you are playing on Xbox, which they own - or Windows which they own, they don't give a shit. You are in their eco-system either way. Whatever their reasons, some 30+ million (guess) Xbox One/S/X owners purchased their console despite PC gaming's abilities. They are doing just fine, lol.

@speedytimsi: I honestly don't care about MT/DLC so long as the game is good and the MT doesn't give unfair advantages. If its handled like HALO 5 or ACO then its fine by me. The overall quality of the game matters more. If I can get games I am interested in like Battlefield, Halo, Gears, SoD, Madden and Titanfall the day they debut in my $10 a month subscription then both MS and EA will be my company of the year. Of course this might be a pipedream but you never know.

IF EA is open and available, they are the absolute perfect fit in every conceivable way, They are the answer to all of MS issues:

1. Exclusives. EA has some incredible devs who can produce new IPs that are exclusive to Xbox/PC

2. Multi-play hits that will generate revenue year after year. It wouldn't make sense to keep FIFA, Madden, Battlefront, Battlefield, Titanfall off of PS due to PS massive user base. Like Minecraft keep it multi plat and rake in the cash.

3. The big one. EA Access + GAMEPASS MERGE! That is the long term cash cow. That is the end all!

Of course any and all talented devs should be picked up and that's great. But if EA is willing and available, MS could answer every single issue they have and build a Netflix like service that would include Gears, Battlefield, Halo, Titanfall, Forza, Need for Speed, Madden, Forza Horizon, Battlefront, Sea of Thieves. NHL Hockey, State of Decay 2 all offered day 1 at ten bucks a months, all available for likely 5 months and available to buy at a reduced rated. That is worth the 40 billion it would likely cost.

A currently, C+/B-- since day one. A mostly for Gamepass, Xbox One X, and backwards compatibility. C+/B- since day one for me for a host of reasons as that score has alternated depending upon the year.

Why would you rather pay 10 dollars a month forever to play FIFA instead of just a flat 60 and actually owning the game?

Does your Fifa come with Madden, Anthem, Halo, Gears, Madden, Forza and Forza Horizon, BattlefIeld, all future Star Wars games, Titanfall games, Mass Effect games? Cause that is the value of Game pass if any of this is true. I would gladly pay$ 10 bucks to rent Fifa for 5 months+ and play all of those other games than to pay $60 to own Fifa and have to pay more for new games. Its a value thing.

see but I wouldn't pay a dime for ANY of those games.

I know my gaming preferences is not the average but I think what MS has to focus on more than anything else, more than deep cutting prices, is game selection.

THAT is what matters, not the cost

And that's perfectly fine, but between MS's first party offerings and EA, of which the sports titles are the biggest, this could be come a huge value provided any of this is true, lol. As for me, I'm interested in likely 6 games I know are coming out this year, and going forward a number more. This would be worth a tremendous value to me. And long-term I think it will appeal to a lot of people.
