New Marvel/Crystal Dynamics games is GaaS based like Destiny. Excited?

personally I think Destiny is completely ridiculous looking game, but that might be because I have a lot of gaming experience and had played plenty of shooters in my life already

Anyway as a Marvel fan I’m hoping that it turns out to be a really good game. I really enjoyed Destiny 1 and 2 up until I hit the endgame content then it seemed that there just wasn’t enough there to keep me motivated. If they can provide something that entertains me and not get too heavy handed with the more shady aspects then I’m not automatically opposed to these types of games.

Depends on the gameplay but this isn't a good start.

I like the idea of several big companies bringing their individual talents to a single project, but I'm sick of comic stuff.

If they can pull it off I'm in. Love Destiny 1&2, would have rather had a more single player focused game for this IP, but hoping it's good either way.

My sentiments pretty much. Let me see the actual game, then I'll see if I am excited or not. I enjoyed the first Destiny even with its faults, never bought the second because I had enough to play and figured I'd wait.

It will need to do something quite special to get my attention, I've got so many online games on my plate it's not funny. I played a ton of Marvel Alliance online last gen and honestly there is already too much of the Superhero stuff in Hollywood these days, I just don't feel the need to bring that into my gaming diet at this time as well. But if it gets a great reception I'll likely check it out.

Yeah as much as I don't mind MMOs in general I want more solo experiences. So yeah just no to this.

I have no problem at all with Gaas so long as I'm enjoying the game. Game quality matters far more than MT'S. If the game is great and I'm enjoying myself I don't care about loot boxes/MT/DLC/Season Pass Only thing that matters is fairness in multiplayer and my own personal enjoyment. **** everything else.

Like Destiny? Like a massive online game?My crystal ball says a game like that will need monetization beyond DLC expansions and when someone says that evil word the gaming world will treat the game like it has game AIDS and go frothing at the mouth like feral zombies hoping the game flops and the devs go out of business and NeoGAF will be like "they were dead to me the moment they sold out to MS for Tomb Raider durrrr". I'm already sad how inevitable this outcome is.
