[QUOTE="lawlessx"]$600 dollars+ games is alot of money no matter how you look at it..do you think a casual gamer really gives a crap about its features?.no..they just wanna play video games.Hammerofjustice
$500 xbox 360 zephyr+ $70 wifi adapter + $200 HD DVD addon = $770 before taxes and without games.!!!!

Name one 360 game I cannot play on my current 360 that I absolutely must have even one of those items you listed... go ahead, I'll wait:roll:

Seriously, for those that want the upgraded 360 stuff, go gte it and have a great time. As for me, I don't need it and I have access to every game same as they do. Your post fails miserably.

Crackdown is a very very good action game that I am njoying playing. I wish it had more story like Saints Row, but all in all its good and deserving of a 8.3 score IMHO.

PS: to people who keep crying over how long games are, get a life. Who actually sits down and times a game to see how long it is? You either enjoy it or you don;'t, but I don't give a damn how long any game is, only that I enjoyed playing it or not. I loved Oblivion and its hella long, and I enjoyed Gears of War which is kinda short. I have played long, boring games and short fantastic ones. How long it lasts doesn't really count if you had a good time playing the game. I have a life outside gaming that east up plenty and I don't always have hours and hours to play games anyway, so most games lengths are just fine for me. Crackdowns is as well.

Yes, without a freaking doubt! If SW can't agree on anything we should all agree on that. or at least the vast majority. Every system should have every fighting game for it online capable. VF5 is damn near worthless without it, no matter what system you buy it on, IMHO.

Like someone said above, its faultering, not failing. I honestly don't think the PS3 can be failing until after this coming Xmas season when all three systems are in direct competition with each other and their biggest titles.

One thing I can honestly say is that the PS1 and PS2 never, ever had the bad word of mouth both by gamers and the press that the PS3 has and that's a huge reason its not selling well, along with the fact that is is just to expensive for a video game system and has no killer aps out right now or even in the foreseeable (read six months) future. The PS3 is simply not as entertaining as the Wii, no as next gen or has the killer gaming lineup as the 360. Thats why sales are down. Sony created a system that wasn;'t designed with developers in mind, as well as trojan horsed their Blu-ray inside it, causing the price to be ridiculous.

All in all the PS3 isn't failing, but it is faltering. The problem is with every month that passes the PS3 gets closer to failing because public opinion on it, as well as the press is low. The games aren't all that great and their lineup this year is very suspect. They better pray to God Killzone can stand toe to toe with Halo 3 or this Christmas season they will be in deep trouble. Nintendo has Mario and MS has Halo. Who will champion Sony through this holiday season?

Cows are reeeaaalllyyy reaching for ownage on this one. I can play any Xbox 360 game that is ever going to come out on the 360 I bought and the only thing I need is nothing. I want the bigger harddrive and I will buy that if its sold seperatly. There are only two ways this would have been ownage. 1, if this new 360 played games I can't ever play. 2. if this new 360 costed as much as I paid for mine, but with all the feature. Otherwise this is a supped up newer model, but not needed by anyone who wants or enjoys 360 games.

Its just not needed therefore zero ownage exists here. Come on, cows. At least bring up something a lemming would have to have to play games, and not stuff you can choose if you want or not:roll:

Mass Effect 2, Forza 3 someday, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dead or Alive 5, Rare games, Gears of War 2, Blue Dragon, Alan Wake, Halo Wars are a strong post Halo 3 lineup in the year and a half after that game is released as far as exclusives go. Now if Crackdown does well and Too Human somehow suprises that game is also a trilogy and would be additional firepower. Lost Oddyssy is coming as well as tons of extremely popular multiplat games.

Oh, and add in Saints Row 2, Dead Rising 2, and Lost Planet 2.

Sorry, software wise the 360 is extremely solid until 2009 and then we'll see whats cooking.

This is the ultimate ownage ever!!! There are simply to many links to so many credible, nonbiased websites and coupled with Sony's incredible arrogance, lies, and promises it just makes the PS3 debut a complete flop. It will take the best year of Sony's gaming department ever to come back from this. And at this point I just don't think they can do it. The PS3 at the end of 2007 will be in 3rd place and still losing money.
