I'm going to predict the same scores I predicted for The Witcher 2. I think it can get anything between 8.5-9.5.
8.5 if being harsh and that would still be the minimum score. 9.5 would be really impressive. My own feeling is a 9 and it getting stronger praise from PC reviews. I also think Deus Ex has the bar raised so high I still think it won't surpass the original but will come close.
I think reviews like OPM are unfair and should not be counted on metacritic. I don't mind reviews that give it such a score if they can justify it properly but trying to compare it to COD. Anyway I don't trust any reviews that come out months before release.
The only potential weak link I can say so far is the boss fights and how you approach them.
Graphics while I can certainly see reviewers taking points off for it, I do think the art style, sound and overall presentation will even it out and hopefully get recognition. The devs have really thought about the reason for the choices they made in design and themes they have chosen.
Moving onto a different subject I would like to say even though its only marketing. The marketing has been very impressive, the propaganda trailers and the sarif industries website were really good. I've been following all the videos from the start, watching the leaked beta which I haven't played myself and reading so many articles and previews that I have run out of material to go through and I still can't get enough.
This is an interesting article that surprised me. The game could have been a lot longer. 100 hours including a whole city hub cut due to deadlines. 30-35 hours is still very good though but that just made me think thats a huge chunk of the game cut and how even more epic it could have been.
