Thanks for the heads up downloading now.
Do Steam users have to download the whole game again as I read Steam recently changed the way they handle downloading, wondering if that has come into effect. I have the retail so I've just finished downloading as I write this message and the size is 101mb.
yet another free dlc?!! how can they, they are ruining biowares business model of overcharging for crappy dlcs

I'm happy about the support CDPR is providing for the game. The support at GoG is great. Off-topic, but I noticed your sig - glad to see someone other than myself is playing DA2.:Plove how their website is full of nothing but whiners calling it a console port. Anyway, im all for more free dlc!

I love this, seems like theyve been releasing fixes every few weeks. Its good to know a develoepr has the decency to admit theyre not perfect, listen to the community, and fix their errors.
Its like Gabe Newell said (I think he said it): games are a service, not just a product
It's funny how people praise CDProject for these supposed "DLCs" whereas it should've been included in this game. Plus, the DLC are mostly short sidequest. NerubianWeaverSmoothing out the rough edges and adding some more content is a bad thing?

Seriously? In that case why not just abandon releasing patches as well, seeing as the game should ideally be bug free from the day it is released.
As you say, the DLC is only a short side quest, it's not as if it's instrumental to the plot of the game. Can't see the problem.

NerubianWeaverYes its a disgusting business practice giving customers something after you already have their money, clearly a better course of action is to not bother fixing bugs and release that dlc seperately for your own form of currency so you really have your die hards on all fours. Bugs are still being fixed and not just left to modders to sort out and there is some added incentive with a bit of free content thrown in, how can you seriously complain about that?

I think it's because the game was announced for consoles. Exactly. By not focusing on the PC version entirely, they are devoting time in porting the 360 version. They should've fully polished the PC game before its release rather than releasing a broken game. Even the latest patch doesn't fully address the ratio issue because they are focusing on the 360 version.
