Brink - Free Weekend on Steam (includes new DLC)

If you have not tried Brink yet, here is your chance. Its doing a FREE TO PLAY type thing during quake con, from today till sunday you get access to Brink and the new DLC that came out today.

Fun team/objective based FPS from the makers of Wolfenstien Enemy Territories and Quake Wars. Even if you don't enjoy it, its free for the weekend so worth a try :)

I know everyone wont like this game btu thought I would give the heads up to those who care. To me its up there with Alpha Protocol and Risen as this gens most underrated game.

I've been wanting to play this game for a while now, but was scared away by all the horrible reviews. I'm glad I'll finally get a chance to play it for myself.

Thanks for the post I have always wanted to try this game but didn't want to buy it now i can get a chance to try it out.

Maybe this will cause people to get some interest for the game, it's not as aweful as people would have you believe.

if I like it and buy it, then mabye the community will be ressurected due to this free to play weekend.

Game performs like garbage on my med-high PC. It is completely unplayable on my system using the latest ATI drivers. I heard its an issue with poor support for ATI cards. I am against any developer that doesn't even bother to support one of the two major graphics card distributors. Absolutely no excuse for that garbage in todays PC gaming market. I'm glad this game failed hard...

Nice thanks for the heads up. I thought about buying it at launch. Free weekend already isn't a great sign but I ain't complaining good opportunity to check it out. If I like it I can get this quite cheap via retail.

Damn I have an ATI card too. I read about this at launch I was hoping they would have sorted this out by now.
