I would say so, I feel I am.

An example not restricted to just this genre but I have hardly been playing rts games this year, the genre has been stagnant for a while and don't feel I can dedicate anymore time/focus into it or am as interested as before in those games. Don't intend to buy any new ones simply because my attentions lie elsewhere, got more things going on in life and don't have a lot of free time.

In general plaing games a lot less and currently feeling a bit disillusioned with gaming also, from recent games to the direction of some other stuff.

There is more quantity than quality out there.

I feel ya.

Now instead just playing games that I can relax to, more about fun than anything and less consuming. Having said that I'll still enjoy a deep game and have Deus Ex Human Revolution pre-ordered so not completely done with gaming just a lot less than before.

[QUOTE="fend_oblivion"]

devs focus on multiplayer instead of singleplayer. Even games that do not need multiplayer have it :|

CongressManStan

Totally agree with this.

I play games to have FUN and relax after a hard day at work.

In my opinion, that's what all video games should prioritize.

peterw007

My game buying has slowed way down, and I'm finding myself playing alot less, or just playing mindless games.

It's all good, don't need to be hardcore RPG guy all the time.

ZombieKiller7

This is where I feel I am at the moment.

I know:(...Its always been like that except for some worldwide releases. I think its just to do with the way the retailers work. US gets releases on a Tuesday and Europe releases are on a Friday.

Excellent score Eurogamer 9/10

Few snippets.

"Sometimes, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is just the best Deus Ex tribute act ever."

"Sometimes, though - probably enough of the time that die-hard fans won't hold it up as high - Human Revolution doesn't quite live up to its ancestor."

"But the important point is that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of those rare games that knows you can't be perfect all the time, and that you have the right to change your mind about your actions later. It just wants to be played with and enjoyed - and when you finish, you just want to play with it again."

Also mentions boss fights as terrible but its mainly positives.

and I have to wait till the 26th:(

Was just watching this video and at 15mins the same game designer talks a bit more about the game length and confirms my assumption that the 25 hours would be if you rush through it and 35+ hours doing everything.

[QUOTE="pcgamer_07"]

city hub cut due to deadlines. 30-35 hours is still very good though but that just made me think thats a huge chunk of the game cut and how even more epic it could have been.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Needed Cuts

Interview starts at 48mins and talk about cuts starts around 57mins.

-Snooze-

Large chunk of DLC on the way? I wouldnt mind ...

Even though I want to play HR already I would have been fine waiting for everything to get completed to their original vision but I wouldn't mind DLC either for this game:P Has been in development for four years, I can feel their passion and effort from following everything, already a good amount of hours and a very ambitious feeling.

In the video above the guy also from 15mins talks about those cuts from the original development because they didn't have time and puts the estimate at around 60 hours rather than 100.

I heard somewhere that the game is up to 50 hours long if you read everything and commit to a stealthy, non lethal playthrough. Does that sound right?

The_Capitalist

I don't know about the play style but at 15:20 mins the Game Designer says it around roughly 30-35 hours doing nearly everything in the game. Maybe more but I guess we'll find out when its out how accurate that is since I also read it could be around 25 hours so I assume the 30-35+ hour figure could be the stealth route.

That point stood out for me the most.

Firefox for me.

Firefox. I've been using it for years and have never had any problems with it.

ShyGuy0504

Same here I try out other browsers to see what they are like but Firefox is my main browser. I don't notice it being slow but I do like to tweak around and customise which is what I love most about it. I can tailor it to exactly the way I want it.
