[QUOTE="guitarsrock4eva"]Sounds good, would be interesting to see it combined with Natal. Still I expect some PS3 fanboys will bash it all the same, mainly because Sony didn't come up with this.Zero_epyonFunny though how both Sony and Microsoft have jumped onto this controllerless gaming though. I wonder if it's because they were shamed by the wii? When did they get rid of the Wii's controllers? Sony have jumped onto what the Wii has been doing. Microsoft have been looking for ways of gaming without controllers at all.
[QUOTE="guitarsrock4eva"]I always tend to judge games graphically based on how good they look in SD. I get sick of seeing games that everyone jacks off to because of graphics which they see in screenshots and photos while its played on some giant cutting edge TV. I'll judge the game's graphics on my SDTV then I know if it looks good in SD it will look great in HDmusicalmacAn interesting approach, but I'm not sure how reliable it really is... :P Even I wonder that :p I just don't see the point in judging a game's graphics if all I see is screenshots from some TV that blows mine out of the water.
[QUOTE="guitarsrock4eva"]Oh... So thats why everything is black... Or is that just cos I'm blind? Seriously what is the point in this? You can play consoles in standard defenition. I don't know what you're going on about saying the Arcade doesn't have HDMI, I have an Arcade and it has a HDMI slot, I just havn't got the cable because I lack a HDTV in my room.AdobeArtist
I don't think the intent of this Topic is SD vs HD, but really, that HD through Component or VGA isn't as good as HDMI. The point made by the TC which is being argued here.
And while you technically can play in SD, I'm sorry but once you've seen the picture in HD, THAT really is a world of difference in picture quality.

A 42-incher should be able to do 1080p. Give it a try if you can.HuusAskingI was able to do 1080p on my Samsung through VGA.On your 360? Pretty sure the label on the box says "up to 720p resolution". As far as I know the 360 can do 1080p... Otherwise why would it be listed on game boxes? I know older games such as Oblivion can only go up to 720p though.
In ASDA they sell them for £200. I was there on saturday.Right now the PS3 is sitting around the £250-300 price point and thats a bit steep for me being a student and all. I would like to get a ps3 but I cant really justify buying one at that price point. I could buy a new case, hard drive, Windows 7 and maybe a decent used graphics card for less than that.
