Do you have some sort of non physical, perhaps philosophical theme to the world? Perhaps that your protagonist's flaws or internal conflicts stop him from achieveing his goals, or that the primitive society, despite being quick to abandon old world tendencies, has the same cruelties as before? A center theme that isn't explicit, but you remember as you plot things out should help. And as for my suggestions, thats just my conjecture of a post-apoc world, and probabley dosen't pertain what-so-ever to your story.
The ATI GPU plan isn't to build a single, most powerful chip, as you seemed to indicate in the first post. They plan to make a high to midrange chip and use dual chip cards to capture the high end. As for the 5k series, Nvidia will counter with something, which I predict will continue their "big die, big ass chip" design philosophy that we've seen with the 200 series.
I'm looking for a starting point in shopping for a new car. Safety is paramount, and then is reliability. Does anyone have a solid guide, or website that all such ratings on recent cars?
