I already played Captain Toad on the Wii U. Game was alright but nothing terribly impressive so I have no interest in double dipping for 3DS or Switch.

Funny how people that say they are all about tolerance are the least tolerant.
Don't buy the game.
This. That's why I'm not gonna buy BF5 and not bitching too much about it.
If it triggers you, don't buy it. Simple as that.
Shouldn't people be able to criticize things though? Shouldn't people be allowed to voice their opinions on certain matters?
Whenever people complained about stuff like the Transformers movies, Justin Bieber, Call of Duty, Twilight, or any other "cool to hate on" stuff like that, I sure as hell have never seen the "don't like just don't buy it" mindset come into play there...
It is kinda cool to see NIntendo marketing with Microsoft and even seeing the Xbox One logo on a Nintendo video. Kinda big when you remember how console wars stuff can be and used to be.
Cross-play is a good thing and hopefully Sony will one day join in on it.
Well, as long as the challenge it presents is actually fun and engaging to deal with, then I'm game.
With al the content being put into this game (old and new), the mechanical changes, some of the other details added (extra damage on 1v1s, as well as slow mo specials), some of the changes and redesigns of characters, plus the fact that we still don't know what Sakurai has up his sleeves in terms of new content (whether it be new modes, characters, stages, single player content, online, etc.), to call it a port is really selling SSB Ultimate and Sakurai short.
Re-using assets or an engine does not make a game a port.
Only Mario Tennis game I bought was the GC one, Mario Power Tennis I think it was called?
Might get this new one though with the positive reception it seems to have been getting.
I've been focusing entirely on digital nowadays, but not because of the environment. I've just been doing it for convenience.
Wait, people actually bought the main DoA games largely for the sexualization?
People do know there are ways to get their fap on without having to spend 60$, right?
I like the idea of being able to get free retro games for subscribing the online system. My worry is how will NIntendo actually handle it? How many free games will we get over time? What games? Will we get some games that have yet to ever make it to a VC or the NES/SNES Classic systems? And please for the love of god tell me they will release more than just NES games...
Seriously, if this idea was properly handled than it alone could justify the 20$ per year subscription price.
