I agree. I use a 360 controller on my PC and can't imagine ever switching to the Xbone controller. My only complaints with the 360 controller are the d-pad and the constricting battery bulge. The Xbone controller feels too compressed. Every thing feels smaller and closer together. My biggest complaint is both the bumpers and the triggers. On the 360 controller the triggers sat in a comfortable part of my fingers, by the first knuckle. On the Xbone they feel further down the finger, by the second knuckle. It just feels wrong.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the MS April 25 earnings report is meant for shareholders. That means that any earnings reports are based on shipped numbers not sold through. Shipped numbers is where manufacturers earn their money. Sold through is mostly bragging rights because it's money that goes to the retailer. MS shareholders care about how much money MS made, not Gamestop.

There is zero chance of me buying this. Though it's still more likely than me buying an Xbone.

Doesn't Rodgers' revelation that his departure from Evolution was for personal reasons also show that all the recent doom n' gloom babble about Sony's studios has been greatly exaggerated?

If IGN picks their GOTY by committee, which is very likely, maybe he's just stating the actual way that the voting went down. If all/most of the committee members overwhelmingly chose TLOU with little need for debate, then he is stating nothing but a fact.

@FoxbatAlpha: As of right now there's actually quite a bit of doubt. Just because it's your preferred console doesn't mean it's the popular choice. You're just going to have to accept that.

I agree that The Show is technically not exclusive, but having games on multiple Sony systems is not the same as having a game on MS consoles and PC. Licensing is the big issue here. To put a game on a Sony platform you have to be licensed by them. You have to use their API and have permission from them to put it on that system. You also have to share your profits with them. The same is true on a Microsoft console. The same is not true on PC though. If I want to put out a PC game, on Windows, I can do it without ever involving MS in any way. I wouldn't have to use DirectX. I wouldn't have to apply for a license and I wouldn't have to give MS a penny of my profits. In the sense of PC gaming, Windows is simply an OS. PC is a completely open environment that Microsoft has no control over in the same way it does XBOX. In fact, I would almost argue that Steam is more of a PC platform than Windows is because of the licensing system involved. It is simply false to say that a game like Titanfall is Microsoft exclusive. I wouldn't doubt that Microsoft would have been more pleased if EA kept the game only on their consoles and not on Windows.

When I think of PC focused games I think of kb/m. Dark Souls 2 (and the other Souls games) is the last game you want to use a kb/m with. That said, yes I think the PC version will sell better than the 360 version.

As an overall company MS is in a better position to outlast Sony, but I'm pretty certain that, despite Sony's current financial problems, neither company is going anywhere anytime soon. As far as their roles in gaming, I believe Sony will likely outlast Microsoft. I have no doubt that Sony will continue to be a gaming company after this generation, whether that means a new console or a major expansion of the PS Now concept, they'll be around. I believe that if this generation isn't a MAJOR success for Microsoft though, they'll quickly get outta Dodge.

Honestly no. Every console ever released, when first released, I either had a desire or intent to some day purchase, whether that ever actually happened or not. Sometimes after a while I lost interest and didn't end up buying it. This is the first time I can ever remember that a console has at no point interested me in any way shape or form. From the first time it was announced to what the console has become four months after release and all I know as of now about it's future, I've never had any desire to ever own that thing. Maybe something in the future will change my mind, but I doubt it.
