Mmm, well I'll think about it. The thing is almost 6 years old, and though I REALLY want to play The Witcher 2, that would be a very expensive game since I wont be buying anything new exept older stuf on Steam and GOG. I'll just buy the game, maybe it'll barely work. I'm reluctant to upgrade to Windows 7 since I've got a bunch of games that probably wont work, but I guess its inevitable. Thanks for your help, I'll continue looking for a deal, atleast I now know what I need. If I'd know it would work for a couple more years, I'd happily pay double, but a PC thats been running almost 24/7 for 6 years isnt gonna last that much longer. Cheers mate.
Found the hd 4850 1GB for 70 euros. Looks good, just a bit worried if wattage use is to high. Anyway, this is my PC without GeForce upgrade, you think it'll work? http://www.topproduct.nl/hardware/desktopcomputers/13034-acer/134800-acer-aspire-e360/274972-acer-aspire-e360-91.9pb7s.u7w.html Cant seem to find if its 250W, 300W or more.
Hi there, My current build: Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 2GB Ram, Windows Xp, GeForce 9500 GT 512mb (I presume PCI-Express, NOT 2.0. On tech sheet says 1x 16x PCI Express, 2xPCI, 1x1x PCI Express) ).
1)Its about time that I upgrade to a new PC, but since I currently dont have the cash for it, I want to upgrade my current one. I dont play that much on PC, and dont care if its with medium settings if I do, if I can use my PC for another 12-18 months, I'll be very happy. Anyway, I'll get 2GB more Ram in a couple of months, till now I havent had any problems, but since The Witcher 2 (min: GeForce 8800 512mb Req: GeForce 260 1GB) is coming out, I need a new graphics card. Can you guys suggest me one for 80 to 115 euros. ( I prefer GeForce, since its the only card I've ever had that never ran into any problems, but if you've got a solid other recommendation, thats fine to.)
2) I found a GeForce GTX 8800 768mb on e-bay for 35 euros, I doubt its much of a card, but I'll just mention it in case I'm wrong.
Thanks guys, I'm not much of a tech guy, and on my own I'd probably buy a piece of crap on e-bay, so I appriciate the input.
Meh, played till beginning of Chapter III in a week, then stopped. Its definatly the weakest Bioware game so far. I like the combat, but all the storystuff is mediocre at best. It just needed companions on par with Morrigan and Alistair. The closest to a Bromance you get is with the dwarf. (I dont even Remember his name!). The Biggest mistake though, is the fact that I can't Always talk to My companions while in camp/house. In Origins, I spread their commentary out, so that every Time I went there, I heard something new. Basically, you had one time story stuff (e.g. Alistair talking about his Royal Heritage) and side stuff (e.g. "Have you Ever liked a lamppost in Winter" or "It's so cold in My Tent all alone...."). The latter was completely removed in Dragon Age II, and not all that surprisingly, it seemed to make the game for Me.
In closing, after finishing Dragon AGe: Origins on X360, I immedialty bought the PC version to see what that was all about. I'll probably replay My PS3 DAII right before release of Dragon Age III, but without doing every side-quest that I'm doing now.
I hate the fact that their making it to be a Fantasy Mass Effect. I liked that game, but I Loved Dragon Age.: Origins.
By the way, could it be that Hawke is the son that you Sired during Dragon Age.: Origins...Well, depending on your choices.
No offense, I edited this post for those who might not have yet played DA:O.:)

Honestly, for the length of time they have delayed saying anything at all about it, one would think they have grown tired of the series.
Oblivion still sells: if Bethesda had reprogrammed for Vista or Windows 7 (instead of leaving it at XP), they could have easily doubled new sales.
Works fine on 7 for me, I got GOTY on Steam over the weekend for 8€, though I've had it on 360 for a while now.
Yeah, I got the GOTY Oblivion on Steam as Well, I also bought Fallout III GOTY for 24 euros. This would be the fourth time I bought Oblivion......
