I certainly am.
This game will shine, with Phys-X plus nVidia-specific graphics commands embedded within the game's executable.
As great as the original was, you know they are pulling out all of the stops for the sequel.

Definitely! :D Though the requirements are a bit scary.. :oharry_james_pot
Yeah, but you can lower the settings and the resolution, that way you won't tax your GPU or bottleneck a CPU as much.
I am interested, I have been seeing this game over a while in terms of screenshots and info and it looks good but I am undecided on whether I will get it for sure.
What are the system requirements for this game?

Hm I just scrape through into the reccomended specifications. I may have to upgrade the memory even as I hear 2 gigabytes with Windows 7 64bit is a tad underpowered due to Vista and Windows 7 using more memory than Windows XP?
Thanks for the info, when is this game out?
You're welcome.:)
The game will release on the 24th in North America, and iirc the 27th of August everywhere else.
As far as RAM goes, you're right - Vista is the memory hog, 7 uses a little less.
I'm running Win 7 64-bit, with 8 GB RAM, and even after running DA:O (you have a lot of caching) then exiting, my Task Manager shows 6637 MB available, and 4460 MB free.
The free amount would be higher if I hadn't run DA:O, as there would have been less caching done. It's normally closer to 5.6 - 6 GB free after a coldboot or a restart. (depending on what's running, I shut down some stuff after booting). But that figure is without running my browser.
When I had a PC with XP, I ran the first Mass Effect with only 2 GB RAM, but if you're going to Windows 7, I would suggest at least 3 GB for 32-bit, and 6 - 8 GB for 64-bit.
What's good about 64-bit with 8 GB is you can have your browser open and still run any uber-game, whereas on my XP machine I couldn't always do that.
Normally I don't start a game if my browser is open, unless I need to check something to answer a post.

Yeah, but you can lower the settings and the resolution, that way you won't tax your GPU or bottleneck a CPU as much.
My pc is better than the recommended. I'm sure i'll max it out @1080p just fine. It's the PhysX requirements that i'm worried about. To run it with PhysX on high, you need a Core i7, a GTX480, and a GTX285 as a PhysX card.. 0_____0[QUOTE="topsemag55"][QUOTE="harry_james_pot"]Definitely! :D Though the requirements are a bit scary.. :oharry_james_pot

My GPU has just PureVideo and Cuda.
If you have an nVidia graphics card you can install Phys-X I believe and have it run on a single graphics card but you may get issues with slow down. I dont believe dedicated Phys-X cards are made anymore.
I use an ATI card so I hope that the graphics will still look pretty sweet even without Phys-X.

Well, the driver has Phys-X (I believe), my GPU is the GT 230...idk if the 230 is Phys-X or not.
