[QUOTE="DerekLoffin"][QUOTE="L1qu1dSword"] OK so last generation the cows would say that the inferior graphics and hardware that had issues failing was ok with them because ps2 had the most games and the best ones too.
I think it's funny how that argument has disapeared now that it is true of their opposing console the 360.

No, the argument hasn't disappeared, lemmings now use it, and now are on the receiving end of the opposite side. Funny how that works. You know, sorta like how sheep kept going on about how sales weren't important last gen, but now are the first ones to post sales figures because it's now in their favor.
However, the biggest issue with the so called 'hypocrisy' is that 'Cows' (and 'Sheeps' and 'Lemmings' and yes even 'Hermits') are not one individual, which means, gasp, they can have differing oppinions and problems. If Joe says DRE was excusable, and Jim says RROD sucks, just because both happen to be Sony fans does not mean either is bying a hypocrite, because individually they haven't contracticed themselves. Joe may still feel RROD is excusable, and Jim may have thought DRE was bad too.
OK I did not think that I was conversing online with ONE lemming on a computer in his hole in the ground, ONE cow in the midwest with ethernet cables going into the barn and ONE hermit living in a cave.
I AM aware that these are actually large groups of people comprised of individuals with their own thoughts and opinions. However, when conversing about such things it is common to make generalities of that nature.
Kind of like saying "Democrats are against the war" or "Republicans tend to be traditional."
It's a given that the statement does not leave a blanket of 100 percent truth over the issue, BUT it is true often enough that for the sake of a discussion a point can be made.
A less lengthy response would be.....DUH!
Sorry, but saying everyone does it, or it's okay because it's commonly done does not make it any more correct. You claim hypocricy, and therefore must show hypocricy, however it cannot be shown unless you get down to individuals, not group identities. You can't even claim it as a common trend, because hypocricy requires 2 things (one stance for something, one stance against the same general principle under a different circumstance), which again requires you to get down to individuals, not the group as a whole, as individual, as I pointed out, even within a group can hold opposite views but completely consistent with themselves. It's like claiming all dogs are green when half are blue and half are yellow. The logic doesn't follow.
