Just checked the official Witcher 2 forums, there is a fix for this, all you have to do is download and replace a file in the EE patch folder.

those rankings are based on each games respective forum activity if I'm correct, so it's simply that those particular games have more people talking about them right now. At one point, the Street Cleaning Simulator 2011 was the number 1 game on there because it became a meme and people spammed it's forums and reviews section.

watched the teaser trailer, so is it a prequel or something, or does the post GoW3 Kratos travel back in time to when he was enslaved by Aries? I'm still excited but i was kind of hoping for a sequel even if it did have a very weak "Kratos is alive and somehow Zeus is back on the scene" storyline. IMO, better than a prequel.

don't know but im downloading the EE right now. When in the process did you encounter this error? Is it during the actual installation? or during the d/l?

firewall? ALT+tab out to the desktop and make sure there aren't any prompts to Allow/ Deny MW3 access to the internet.

yes the hardware forum can help but if i gotta say one thing, its that !!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT buy pre-built PC's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like that HP pavillion you were mentioning. Build your own, even if you don't want to do that, have a local PC shop build one for you. Shop around if you are going to do that but anyways, do not buy a prebuilt.

I only just started playing like 2 days ago. I mainly just play metro conquest right now and its kind of gets screwed up no matter which side you play. Either the russian team just camps the top and you just bleed tickets cause your a flag down or sometimes the complete opposite happens and the russian team gets pushed way back into their start area and then its just spawn kill after spawn kill. last night i was playing and the US team drove us back into the deployment area, it was a 2000 ticket game and one guy on the US team was doing 230-20 or something like that cause most of the round he just sat there and picked off spawns with an SV98. It's the most reatrdedly designed spawn area, completely open due to the large windows and completely in sight of half a dozen sniper nests.

sounds like it simply has issues connecting to the internet. Is your firewall letting it go through? make sure the APB launcher is added as an exception in whatever firewall you are using.

good on them. DRM just punishes paying customers. Companies like UBI have it stuck in their thick skulls that pirates are lost potential customers or something to that effect. They don't realize that pirates are not their customers, they never were and never will be. If at any point the DRM prevents them from playing, they will not go out and buy the game because of some spontaneous realization of how wrong they've been all this time. Instead, they will go pirate something else and wait for a crack to the game they were not able to initially play.
