my old 40 gig is still sitting in my closet. It actually still sort of works. It wont read discs but you can still turn it on and, i guess, play PSN downloads off of it but really it is trash. An expensive piece of trash because i remember buying it when PS3s were like 500 bucks.
Grinding endurance races in GT5 and trying to do a Ninja Gaiden Sigma playthrough. (oh god i forgot how hard that game is)
Yes, now that its actually happenned, i don't think Sony will let it happen twice. Sure, any safe can be cracked and all that, but, i think a second security breach of this magnitude is unlikely.
Plus, i actually bought the occasional ps1, ps2 classic from there and if they release more HD remakes like RE4 or the MGS series, im definitely getting that.
I got a 8 year old Dell keyboard from 3 computers ago that im using to type this. It still works great and whenever i see one of those $150 Logitech 'gaming' keyboards at a store, i have the overwhelming urge to puke.
No offence to anyone who owns one of the said 150 dollar keyboards.

thanks, that helped a lot.

yep,
welcome to Canada. Plus US Newegg (and other US sites) doesn't deliver to Canada so they make you use Newegg.ca which marks everything up to par with other Canadian sellers.
Hey guys, im building a new rig with a core i3 processor and what i have is as follows (im on a tight budget of around $600CAD max)
-G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
-OCZ FATAL1TY 550W ATX12V 20/24PIN Active PFC ATX Modular Power Supply 120MM Fan 80PLUS
-Antec Three Hundred Mini Tower Gaming Case 300 ATX
-Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA2 3.5IN 8.5MS 7200RPM 16MB Hard Drive
-Gigabyte H55M-USB3 mATX LGA1156 H55 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E4 2PCI HDMI Sound GBLAN USB3.0 Motherboard
-Intel Core i3 530 Dual Core Processor Clarkdale LGA1156 2.93GHZ Hyperthreading 4MB Cache
Grand Total (tax and shipping included) $581.11 Canadian dollars
im trying to save some extra money by not buying a GPU just yet. Apparently the core i3 has like 760 ish mb of integrated graphics. This will primarily be a work (SQL Server, Visual Basic) computer. I still wanna be able to watch some movies and run this with a 1080p monitor. One of the only upcoming games id wanna try is Starcraft 2. Anyone know if the integrated graphics on this i3 will run SC2 at 1920x1080? (considering Blizzard usually doesn't make games too demanding so they can boost sales.) Possibly some other older games but nothing high spec like Crysis2 or whatever
Also, how does the build look overall?
Thanks in advance.
Win 7 for sure. Multiple improvements over Vista.
Don't get XP. Its good but its old. Remember the Pentium 4 processor? That was a good chip also, but would anyone in their right mind even consider buying one nowadays?
