It's more of the same. Combat is a bit harder and there is more of it in 3 but you probably should not get it from what you're saying.

I know it's not an RPG but Crisis 1 still looks beautiful if you crank the settings all the way up. Also, have you played Dragon Age 1? Great looking game but is a part of the 'dark fantasy' trend.

I dunno, Batman City was pretty fun although admittedly the plot was kind of lame. At some points he is what we expect him to be, this almost superhuman, super smart hero and at other times he just this idiot stumbling around falling for the stupidest traps and the game kind of forced us to care about these characters who i frankly could not give a damn about - Mainly Talia. Anyways, Deus Ex Human Revolution is a solid game, personal GOTY too, if you haven't played it yet. Witcher 2 is also pretty damn epic and a nice opportunity to stretch that new gaming rig of yours.

Oblivion is a solid game. I do like Skyrim better, but there are several things like the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild questlines which are more interesting in Oblivion, imo

some are also overclocked/ made slightly faster by these companies. A lot of the time though it really is like buying gasoline; chevron, shell, it doesn't matter cause at the end of the day its gasoline, you get it where its the cheapest. I guess some also look different so if you really care how they look cause you have one of those fancy see through cases, then you might prefer some to others. the real arguments are mostly Nvidia versus ATI(AMD), Intel versus AMD.

yep, most laptops do NOT have interchangable parts. Some let you change the memory and hard drives but thats about it. Besides the fact that things like the GPU and CPU are welded in there and cannot be removed, the motherboards are designed by the manufactuerers (HP, Dell, Asus) to work with that One graphics card and processor and only that graphics card and processor.

Also, if you still have any sort of warranty on the laptop, it becomes void the second you open it up, even if only to take a look whats inside.

looking at those prices from a north american perspective makes my eyes bleed but i guess those are the prices in Denmark for computer parts. I'd go for the Data Discount offer myself If you aren't going to be maxing out the newest most demanding games, the GTX560 is more than enough, plus the core I7 is also a definite plus. I personally wouldn't go for the solid state drive, they are quite expensive and getting rid of it would save you a bit of money with which you could ask for an upgrade to the 570 at the second place. anyways, the second one...

meh, some...

the 9800 is only 512mb but is 256bit.

the 550 is 1gb but is only 192bit

there is also DX11

but really it is the 'budget' card from the 5xx series. Hence, the similar wattage requirements. A 580 needs like a 600 watt PSU so theres your difference.
