AC games are released to fast to care about. Give us a three year break, take time crafting a new one. Give people the chance to catch up on the old ones (release an up to date bundle perhaps? ).

Then return in 2017 with a bang.

At this point it feels like Activision and guitar hero.

Topic Idea

During a recent IGN podcast (Beyond 364, referenced again in 365 about 11 minutes in) one of the hosts was recounting the point at which he inexplicably had to swap from an inverted FPS control scheme to standard because the inverted method he had used his entire life suddenly no longer worked for him. As if his brain stopped functioning that way. I myself experienced this, honestly quite jarring and surprising change in habits a year or two after the launch of the PS2. Evidently as to did many others who wrote into the show to share their accounts of this strange phenomenon. I created a forum post way back when on Gamespot about it, looking for more people who have had this happen to them and to my surprise there were a fair number but none seemed to have a satisfactory explanation as to why.

I think an investigation into an explanation as to why this happens to a lot of people could be an interesting topic for an episode considering the number of people who experience this is far more than at least I initially expected.

Love the show keep it up!!!

Cheers

Like GTA5, did not like GTA Online. It feels really unfocused and the controls lack that precision that multiplayer requires.

Oblivion was the last one of these I enjoyed. Still don't know what happened. I loved Oblivion, tried and failed to get into Fallout and tried and failed to get into Skyrim.

Gamespot has always been really inconsistent with review scores. They don't seem to understand that the reason people get irate over them is because they compare them across reviews released at similar times. Reviewers seem to be working off different scales, applying different values to scores on almost a case by case basis.

Hand on heart I haven't played Rambo or Thief, however I have strong doubts that with the universal trampling this game got that it deserves to be scored the same as Batman Arkham Origins.

I know they are only opinions, but still really? You can't tell me that you honestly think that Rambo is of the same quality as Batman and Thief despite the issues all of the above may have.

Resident Evil makes sense in the confines of the first game. Evil lives in the mansion basically.

Yes. They can keep the handheld but for the love of god go third party for home consoles. They make a slither of a profit on the hardware and from the looks of things they will be a distant third this generation. Think of the user base they could sell to if they go XBone and PS4.

They should stay away from mobile though. Nintendo games would suck on mobile and it would kill sales of their handhelds which are doing and always have done really well.

With the move to x86 (if they keep this architecture) surely this should mean that moving forward backward compatibility should be as easy as it is on PC or am I missing something? Backward compatibility is more important now than ever and I don't think that PSNow is the answer in the long term.

@frozenux Ofc you're right. I think it is becasuse people spend a fair bit when building these machines and once they cant max out the games it is a little annoying.
