There aren't really "levels" in Metal Gear Solid. It's not broken down that way. I guess you could say it's broken into "areas" but even that is a bit of a stretch. It's one long gameplay experience...although in MGS4 they'd added chapters to it. So it's broken down a bit more than the previous games.

Don't worry about dying though. If you do you usually start fairly close to wherever you were before you died. Also keep in mind that you can save whenever/wherever you want. Only way to have a setback in MGS is if you forget to save, but usually someone will contact you from time to time, or before a risky area/boss, and ask you if you'd like to save before continuing.

Alright, now the scolding begins! You're playing MGS4 without playing the others!? Shame on you! Sure you'll have fun with the gameplay, but you'll end up confused and you'll be missing out on a fantastic storyline experience! This is not your average shooter. I strongly recommend playing the others first man!

Your PS3 will be just fine bro! I left mine on just the other night cause I started a bunch of PSN downloads before I went to bed. No harm done. The PS3 is a tank! I think there are a few people on here that leave their systems on 24/7 even.

I haven't played Resistance in quite a while, so I'm not sure how many people still play it online, especially since CoD4 came out. However I played more Resistance online than I have CoD4. It's AWESOME when you get a good team that communicates well with each other. Unreal Tournament 3 is only good for fast paced deathmatch type stuff, and it gets old very quickly. Resistance can be like that too, but there are lots of other gametypes that are good for teamwork and whatnot.

Resistance FTW.

The Darkness = rental

Unreal Tournament 3 = boredom after a while

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you guys have about as much proof of NO remake being made as us fans do of it BEING remade, so shut your mouths. It could be in development right now for all you know...then again it may not. Don't sit there and say "It's NEVER going to happen" because all that does it show your ignorance.

Here are the facts...no remake has been confirmed, BUT there have been plenty of hints and implications about a remake to give the fans some hope. Square Enix has also said that AS OF RIGHT NOW, they are NOT working on a remake. However they have NEVER said that Final Fantasy VII would NEVER be remade. Until they do, STFU, GTFO, and let us fans hope for a remake. If you're getting tired of the topics, why do you bother entering them? Go replay FFX again since everybody thinks it's so great, and let us FFVII fans hope for a remake of one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

Bah, don't listen to these people. If this is your first HD screen, 22" will suit you just fine. 2 meters away is pushing it but I just measured it from my 22" monitor and it's fine. The only thing it's going to suck for, is split screen, but it still gets the job done. I use mine frequently for split screen, but we sit more like 1 meter away, not 2.

1 GB = 1000 MB

Or like...closer to 1024 MB or something if you want to get technical but...bah!

That video has pretty much been burned into the retinas of any FFVII fan dude. As for a remake, nothing has been confirmed, but there have been plenty of hints toward it to give some hope. Don't listen to all these people that say "Just let it go, it's never going to happen." Yeah, they know that about as much as we know that a remake WILL happen. (which we don't.) While I don't sit around all day making "DEMAND" posts about it being remade, I'm confident that it will be eventually. Just wait patiently man, and let Square Enix finish up with FFXIII first.

*sighs* This game isn't bad but it was definitely disappointing. Nothing has topped Budokai 3 yet. This pretty much IS Budokai 3...but with "better" graphics (which is arguable because 3's cel-shading looked pretty wicked)...less characters...easier moves...and lame ultimate attacks. It'd be a waste for me to spend my money on this. I'd rather go back and re-buy Budokai 3. I'm definitely tired of them milking Dragon Ball Z though. Why not give the fans what they want? They need to actually spend some time on the next one and not rush it like all the others. They also need to stop taking steps backward.
