Your PS3 will be just fine bro! I left mine on just the other night cause I started a bunch of PSN downloads before I went to bed. No harm done. The PS3 is a tank! I think there are a few people on here that leave their systems on 24/7 even.
Once, I turned on my PS3 through remote play (I think it was remote play... No other logical reasoning) from school by accident, and I didn't know. I came back like 10 hours later after baseball, and it was still there running silently, folding at home...
I left mine on stand-by for a week after i went up north to see some family...i didn't know till i came back! It was compleatly fine, and it was a Launch 60GB model!!
If your PS3 did magicaly break down, just call Sony's PS3 helpline...
It's a bit pricey but they really are the best
My PS3 stoped palying games, so they gave me a new one....the new one made a bit more noice than the last one...so they gave me a brand new one!!
You got NOTHING to worry about! Be thankfull it's not a 360! Lol!!
I don't think that the PS3 will be overheating over that short of a period. I've left mine on for 3 days straight and played it until the 4th night and nothing happened. Thank God that it wasn't a 360 though. I probably would've gotten mini red rings that represented the red ring of death.
Haha, I did last night as well. I was running Spiderman 3 from the hard drive fell asleep at 2somethin Am, thought i caught it off. Woke to find it on 10 this morning. One time I came home from college not turning my system off. It was on for some 60+hours.
Once i left my PS3 for two weeks on, at folding@home (I was out of the city) and when i came back my PS3 was working great, and its a launch 60GB PS3Pelon208
dam two weeks loooks like you must of saved alot on the heating bill lol. the wood on your entertainment ceter must of had a burned mark on it.
