What good is a superior version of the game when an X360 doesn't work long enough to finish it anyway? *snicker*

Okay that was a cheap shot...but whatever. I'm sure the X360 fanboys are having their hayday with this whole ordeal anyway.

Anyway, I was pissed when I first heard the news but I got over it quickly. I'll probably never see it played on a PC or a 360, so for all I know our version is just as good. And whether you believe it or not, game companies actually are aware of the criticism their games receive. I'm sure Bethesda is more than aware of the outrage that has probably swept across every gaming forum on the internet by now. If they're smart, they'll release a patch eventually. If they aren't, then we'll have to accept the inferior version of the game, and Bethesda will alienate/lose some of it's fanbase.

Even if we do have the inferior version, I'm sure it looks/runs better than Oblivion did...and Oblivion was fun as hell...so does it really matter? I've been waiting for this for too long to let it be spoiled. Grow up and enjoy the game people.

Those are for sure...and probably all I'll be able to manage. There are a couple others I MIGHT get down the road.

*sighs* The 8 bit/16 bit era is not "dead". Some people should learn to appreciate where their current games came from. I enjoy video games period. Sure, I don't have every next gen system, because I favor the PS3 over the 360 and the Wii, but a video game is a video game. I've got an SNES and a Nintendo 64 hooked up in my living room as we speak, and every night everybody gets together and plays 4-player battles on Mario Kart 64 while we party. (myself and my roommate are 19 and 20, literally every night is a kickback/party lol)

To each his own. If you don't like it, you don't have to play it. But don't sit and b**** about it.

Also, to all those complaining about MM9 being 10 bucks. Are you ****ing serious? If you can find the actual carts for the NES Megaman games, they go for like 20-50 bucks!!! (at least they do at the one game store I could find that still had NES carts)

This is a BRAND NEW Megaman game. New levels, new bosses, new weapons, etc...and you people are complaining about it costing 10 measly dollars.

Don't give me any crap about not having the money for it either. I don't live with mommy and daddy, and I pay all of my own bills, which include rent, car payment (which is high because I just got a 2009 Toyota Camry), car insurance (also high), electric, credit cards (2 of em), cell phone, this computer, a $2500 loan that I'm still paying off, Netflix, gas for my car, groceries, clothes, so on and so forth. Not to mention that I have an over-$300-a-month weed habit. (before any of you decide to bash marijuana or the use of it, just know that I could care less, and do some research on it before you look like an idiot)

After ALL THAT, I still managed to find 10 dollars to purchase MM9 with. I'll also be purchasing like 5 PS3 games over the next couple months.

The point of all this ranting is...you can't have your cake and eat it too. Get off your ***es and get jobs people. I work over 50 hours a week in order to live the life that I do, and it's worth it.

I'll admit I was turned off at first when I heard that Infinity Ward wasn't making CoD5 but Treyarch is using the CoD4 engine...and with the amazing foundation laid by CoD4...how bad can they screw it up? Worst case scenerio, it plays just like CoD4, but with different maps and guns, which isn't a bad scenerio at all IMO.

I'll honestly be surprised if it turns out crappy.

People are awfully close-minded when it comes to their opinions about graphics. MGS4 won the best graphics award because of several factors...not just the texture quality. Crysis came in last because, although the graphics themselves may be the best out currently, they're pretty bland and unoriginal IMO. They don't have any style. Someone else already mentioned that MGS4's cutscenes are all done in real time. You also have to take that into consideration, especially since they look damned good.

Also, to whomever compared Gran Turismo 5's graphics to MGS4...how can you even compare the two? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Gran Turismo series, but you have the track, the scenery, and the cars. The graphics SHOULD be top notch There's not that much going on. Have you actually paid attention to all the **** that goes on in MGS4?

All things considered...Metal Gear Solid 4, OVERALL, is probably the best looking game so far for PS3.
