Microsoft has always had the ability to go toe to toe with Sony. Steve Balmer really hurt the company during his tenure as CEO. howwver there are some aspects of the new Microsoft that has me worried. All this spying and stuff is really scary.
@moriwenne: if u save before interacting, any mistakes can be reset. Ask if a conversation requires something you don't have, cancel the conversation and get what is needed and restart. All the conversations are easy in this game.
I don't bother with naming a planet because I'm more predominantly interested in playing. The game rewards exploration and travel. You will get farther in game if you quickly move system by system but if you explore each system there is a lot to discover. I've learned lots of language from all 3 civilizations but I wish they implemented some form of linguistics system so that you can learn the full language from a limited stock pile of language sources because to learn an entire language will take tons of knowledge stones and interactions and going to various ruins and such.
Outside of the jet noobs and lag bf3 was great. Sniping was the only quality I enjoyed but it was unbalanced. Assault rifles could fire at the same ranges as a sniper but have no bullet drop. They would do as much damage but the shots never dropped. Had a few ranged shots where I dropped a dude 500 meters from my position and while he was moving too. Was one of my best sniper kills!
Last I heard Phantoms was full of cheaters and it became a grind fest to have any fun. I never trust f2p simply because they are known to be p2w. Pay more to win more. Still the hackers were the bigger issue.
@rosinmonkekyx17: funny how shot guns are one shots too. Many games give those insane range too! Also I don't mind the bullet drop however the drop should also affect the other guns too. Typically developers forget to add that! So you see guys firing assault rifles at sniper ranges and sometimes having better accuracy than a sniper.
Tf1 became a joke when the latency became too much. When these game companies get rid of controlled hosting I may check it out. EA and Activision don't care about you just your money. Don't buy and maybe they'll change their tune.
I'll stick with the base game. There is enough controversy surrounding the expansions and I don't have the money to do this stuff anymore. I think Activision both started the really expensive dlc trend and for me ended it just the same. I plopped money down on those season pass things for Titanfall and battlefield and COD and everytime felt it was a waste. Not gonna do that anymore.
