@swooshdutch: they only take a loss during the initial release but since the tech does not change, they recoup those loses when it's all cheaper. Plus buying the parts in bulk lowers the cost. These things are probably made in China so that's supposedly cheaper too. I remember when games cost 50 for everything. Then 360, PS3 came out and the price jumped to 60 except PC. Then eventually everyone did it after MW2 was released because Activision sold it for 60$ across the board. Then when games were being sold digitally it was supposed to be cheaper but nope. Still 60$ so yes the gaming companies have lied for years about these prices.

@nibbin1191: mechanics wise it was, except the wall run part. If you've ever played battlefield 3 or 4, then you know the characters in those games move slower snd build momentum and sniper rifles are affected by bullet drop. Since EA owns DICE and Respawn it's only fitting that both games would be similar. I wouldn't be surprised if they made Titanfall be in the same universe as Battlefield? It could be a logical progression.

so now instead of calling Titanfall 1 COD with mechs, now it's Battlefield with mechs. Another game with gimics that will probably fail. I love how's these games make sniper rifles use bullet drop but a simple assault rifle does not have the same problem? It's funny since sniper rifles are HIGH powered rifles used for distance shots and bullet drop is one part energy and 1 part coroilis affect which is influenced by a planet's curvature and rotation. This would in effect influence shots fired but we are talking well down range. The distance that Titanfall games take place should really have no effect on that. Yet we'll see guys sniping with assault rifles and such to far better results with hitscan weapons. Then Respawn will patch the game to reduced the effectiveness of the assault rifle like was done in tf1.

Tech is probably already available to do what Microsoft wants with Scorpio. Still it will need to be affordable. Let's wait and see who will reveal first then see what the competitor will do.

It's still there, just implemented in a way that can satisfy all customers. Basically in a nutshell.

Not gonna buy on PC unless they offer dedicated servers because I hate having someone else tell me where to play. Had that in tf1 and I hated because towards the end of my time on it, I couldn't play because all I'd get was lag. Shots on players would never register and I'd die instantly from other players or die around corners. Not gonna drop 60 on a turd if it's more of the same.

Tf1 was fun but after a while no one locally was playing and I was getting huge lag that I quit for good. I hope this game will have a decent player community so that when I play I'm not dieing from instant death because some laggy scrub. I love taking full damage in an instant only to watch the killcam and seeing the guy blasting me as I just stand there.
