it plays them well but i think your better off getting a dedicated dvd player or an older game ssytem that can play them. anything you can do to limit the chances of rrod are worth it. playing games is already risky, why dump on netflix and dvds to the mess. Ive had several rrod's so now i use it to only play games offline. rrod rate has gone way down for me and my friends since we did the little pact.
ive got the older x1 and they are great. little more bulky than the x11 but the same otherwise. i havent turned on my surrond system in years because of them. I use them for just about everything now. its makes eevrything sound better. while not true surround i think most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference. you can clearly hear were the foot steps are around you in games and you always know were shots are being fired from. plus they have the powered subs in them to so they have a ton of bass compared to others. cord sucks though but i run it behind or under everything so its no big deal now.
it seems that any game that has dlc will eventually have a goty edition or a greatest hits with most stuff in it. I wait for all new game purchases now because of it. i just assume itll have a goty edition about a year down the road.

sometimes servers are up for a while and some go down very quickly, you never know. if your worried its time to start playing those. some games its just plain hard to get enough people to play to get the ach. prey is one ive been working on for awhile but no one really plays it anymore.

problem is, at least in the UK, is that the retailer have no obligation to refund a product if you're just 'no happy' with it. if you have opened the box and have used it the retail will not give you your money back. not a problem in the states. anything and everything can be returned most of the time.

Um, so LastFM and ESPN aren't new features? Sure they are. And neither of those other services are as good as Xboxlive. both of those are useless to me. lastfm is a joke. without the ability to select tracks its just another pandora. neither services are worth it. netflix was worth it when they had the only one but now everyone has it for free. and how are the other services not as good as live? im no ps fanboy but i get the same experience on either system. I hate my wii but technically it offers as much as the others if not abit more. I want to play games on line not do things that im doing for free on my computer.
