Have narrowed my search down to Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2 or Turtle Beach Ear Force X11.
Does anyone have either of these or/and an opinion on which on is better?
Thanks for any input :)

i have the x11s and i like them alot. i think 69.99 is enough money spent on gaming headset, anything more would have been a little to expensive for me
^^^^ the x11"s are really good, simple to hook up and don't use up batteries. i recommend them, i got mine for 38$ thru a special at dell.com.
i can't comment on the other ones, the x11's are great though. great immersion, u can hear guys sneaking up on u in COD/bc2,really fun.
no, but you can still tell which direction the foot steps are coming from. the surround sets cost twice as much.To the guys with the x11s, are they surround sound?

ive just got the x11s, im in love with them. theyve improved gaming in general for me by quite a bit. my tvs sound was awful but now these just enhance the experience, they arent surround sound but you can still tell where things are coming from. id recommend them to anyone. they make your ears a bit sweaty and warm after a while but im pretty sure thats the case with all headsets.

I totally agree. And I think anyone who plays with headsets will tell you the same thing that they enhance the experience. I was skeptical at first but with a newborn in the house and only having time to game at night, headsets were the lifesaver that I needed. If I knew how much more you can hear with them they would have been bought years ago, totally hearing things I've never heard before and the direction they're coming from. I recommend headsets to op or anyone who enjoys gaming for that matter.

I don't know how I even managed to do that anymore.
