anything above rainbow six 3 is very close to vegas. only real differences are some weapons and moves. you cant sneek behind walls and the such. get the xbox version since it has such a strong online following. id probably get the regular rs 3. grab the grenade launcher and 50 cal rifle and just kill anything that moves.
all things considered your better off buying as many re for the game cube that you can find. use the ps2 as the final straw if you cant find/afford the gc variant. everyone of them is superior to the ps2/1 version. save the outbreaks for last since they are no longer supported by psn.
black is a great game. z.o.e. is a blast as well. even though ffx is probably one of the best ff games im having more fun with ffxii. r.a.d. is one of my favorite mech games, syphon filter omega strain i can keep playing and playing, black is one of my better shooting games, silent hill 2 is my creepiest. hard to say which is the best.
ffx is the better game. easier to get into and play and its story extends to ffx2. its a hugely epic game. ffx2 isnt a bad either butit has a very different feel and play to it.
