@5tu88sy:yes its the single dumbest comment ever.....wouldnt it be nice if exclusives didnt exist at all. even so if you want to play every game with less graphic fidelity just so you can play the 1-3 sony exclusives you may be interested in over a couple years. go ahead. why play 10 games with a worse experience just to play 1 you cant play on xox. hell i have a back log of 30 games i need to play. why not just own the XOX for most of your gaming and get a cheap non pro ps4 for the exclusives....thats what i am going to do. but im going to wait to get ps4 pro when there is more than 1 ps4 exclusive i want to play. i think right now its just uncharted and maybe 1 more

@mkeezay22: your origins link is false. it is using a dynamic scaling and checkerboard engine. Dig foundry confirmed it was 2160p. here is a quote from the DF article. your link is from another fan boy spitting false info. "Indeed, we extracted a few shots for pixel-counting analysis and found a 2160p result in all cases." no it is not native 4k.....but as they put it. "The bottom line - Assassin's Creed Origins may not be a native, 'true' 4K game, but it really doesn't matter"

This is all on pre alpha....and older sdk.

Likely ps4 pro will be between 1080p and 1440p and use checkerboard and dynamic scaling. where as it appears XOX using only checkerboard and 2160p.

PS4 pro will look fine im sure.

xox will perform better. and yes 100$ better...

@mkeezay22: ive only read one game being upscaled.....that is battlefront. are their any others that have been "proven" to use upscaling?

checkerboarding is not upscaling....if you dont know that then you are misinformed.

ubi said origins engine is scaleable and uses checkerboarding. Dig Foundry tested origins to be 2160p checkerboard not upscaled at least on the portion they tested.

anthem i believe ive only seen checkerboarding confirmed.

checkerboarding is a good think if needed while still maximizing the power of the console by adding other graphical enhancements. Hopefully to not use as a crutch.

@livedreamplay: and not to mention who the hell buys a 55" 4k tv. pfft... no but really if you already have a 4k tv bought in say 2014 and 2015 and have it in your living space at like 10 feet. you were a moron for buying a 4k tv anyway. If you bought more recently as price has dropped and 1080p tvs are harder to find then ok....But if you were buying a 4k tv for with any hint of 4k being a positive at 55" and not sitting at 7 feet or less then its not 4k that is the problem. it is the consumer. I am a firm believer that unless you are a gamer, then 4k is damn near useless. hell i cant even get comcast to do any 720p or 1080p... comcast sucks for HD.....most channels are 720p. most movie previews are 480p(what the hell). And comcast has hundreds of fewer HD channels available than the dish or direct or even uverse.
